First unit was a flop
At first it did not cycle water, lots of bubbles. It finally started to pump water after cycling switch several times. Then awhile later the pump noise increased. It is cycling water, but loud.Customer service is lacking, due to recent surgery I can't wait for them to respond any longer, I am forced to purchase another unit, will I buy the same one again? After 4 attempts I spoke with a person, Bonnie turned it all around.Works perfect, good product back up. 5 stars to Bonnie too!!

SO LOUD
I would love to give this a perfect review. This is the third cold therapy machine I have had. The other 2 wore out after after and I thought I would buy a different brand. It works fine. The problems I have are that it’s no insulated like the other brand and so the water doesn’t stay as cold as long. Changing the ice every 2-3 hours. And also that the motor is crazy loud. When you’re post op and basically using it all night to manage pain, it makes it harder to sleep cause of the loud motor

Love it
It works as expected but it’s very loud. Don’t love that! Everything else is perfect. Shipping was fast and efficient.

Not leaking IS THE MOST IMPORTANT
The box arrived a little beat up, everything looked ok. Started using the machine. I felt a couple of drips of water but figured condensation, no biggie. The next time I turned it on the hose blew out and spilled water everywhere. Did I my to try it again? I think not! I called the manufacturer and he said to contact Amazon because especially if the box was not intact it was probably a return!! Now I see it’s not returnable. Not a happy camper

So much better than using small ice packs
This was a life saver during my husband's recovery from knee surgery. A few friends recommended to rent one. We considered renting , for the price we paid it was worth it compared to rental fees. Also it beat freezing small ice packs and dealing with trying to keep them on his knee. This unit straps on securely and the cool water flows through the cooling pad. He could just relax instead of wrestling with ice packs falling off if uneven on his knee. You do need to keep the water cool by refilling with ice periodically. It does come with 6-8 square plastic ice cubes, which are filled with liquid that you freeze and then place them in the cooler. We bought an ice machine to have ice to fill it and supplement the plastic cubes.

Don't Buy
Worked great at firstborn after 3 months of use every day, it isn't worth the money I paid anymore. The pump got louder and stopped working as well as it did new. I switched pads and it was still weak. It barely gets water into the pad. So sad as it started out great.

Pump stoped working after one month!!!
This ice machine worked very well for rotator cuff surgery. Used it, packed it away. Set up for another surgery and the pump would not work. Dont know how to get in touch via Amazon or manufacturer but would like a replacement!Company includes a contact website and phone number. Used both. Don't waste time waiting for a return contact!!!Amazon should NOT OFFER THIS PRODUCT!!!

After some patience, does exactly what it says it will.
It was a little hard to figure out and turn on at first but I think it was because of opening up for the first time. I haven't used it a second to confirm this, but now that we know what to expect, it might be more of a game of patience. All the pieces came in and were easy to put together before I even looked at the instructions and were leak proof. The motor of the machine was quiet enough I could whisper and still be heard. The ice cubes were a lot bigger than I expected (but what do I know. Giving size dimensions does nothing to my imagination, but good news - I got ice cubes for my summer trips for the cooler!) And all 8 would fit in without a problem. I think because of the sheer size of them, it took a couple of days to freeze completely but once they did, they kept the water very cold for a long while.I haven't quite figured out what the extra grey straps are for but I have some ideas for what they were intended for. Instructions were clear and concise on everything else and even had a time limit to check your skin and health. The attachment for your elbow/knee was very comfortable and snug and attached around my thigh without too much of an issue. The edges of the cooling pad did get a little uncomfortable after a little bit but moving it around to lay flat (for my shoulder and back) fixed the issue. With just 4 out of the 8 ice cubes, the temperature running through it was soothing and cool without being too cold - even 20 minutes into using it.
