Exactly what I wanted. Tried to buy one from one of the big hardware warehouses and they wanted to charge over $40 dollars. Fitted my reciprocating saw 18v and it now works great. Thank you

Work perfectly as advertised
This item worked just as advertised. It converted my 20 V max batteries to work on 18 V DeWalt equipment.

Great quality - slightly overpriced.
Having also bought some (MUCH cheaper) 3rd party adapters and been completely satisfied with them, even though the DeWalt quality is excellent, I now consider them overpriced. 1-star off for that.

Don't buy this adapter
This adapter burned 2 5AP batteries the first time I tried to use it !!!!!!!Never buy generic.

Really works well
I have a lot of older Dewalt tools and now I am confronted with using the new 20 V system. This has provided a budget minded alternative for the conversion.

Saves your old tool
It is what it says it is, an adapter for the old style batteries. Works great and lets you get the best of an old tool.
