Sturdy and does the trick - but rather large
SPD kiddo loved it - it's WAY bigger than I thought though. A bit smaller than the palm of your hand, and the cord will likely need to be shortened. It does seem to be incredibly durable though. Which is a huge plus for heavy chewers seeking more prolonged and intense input.

It works great for our 3 year old that needs something in her mouth a lot but it collects dust, fuzz and hair too much. She complains all the time about how dirty it is. It's like a magnet. Also, it hasn't taken long for her to pierce into one of the thin corners. It hasn't seen much use but it'll soon be losing pieces and will end up in the trash. So, maybe good for teething kids that can't destroy things yet or older kids that can use restraint.

Great! ...How do I clean it?
Amazing product! I have ADD and sensory issues and this product makes those obsolete for me without ruining my teeth or pens/nails/etc. I can focus on my homework for the first time in a long time with being overwhelmed.I am only taking away 1 star because I have no idea how to clean this item and wish instruction on what to clean it safely like what chemicals to avoid as it goes in my mouth.

Perfect Item For Chewers
My grand daughter has epilepsy, and loves to chew on everything. They say that is typical for kids who have seizures. She will sit and chew on this for a while at a time, and even wears it to school to keep from chewing on all of her erasers. It was recommended by her OT therapist. This was larger than I thought but none the less was great for my 8 year who had started to chew on her clothes as a way to reduce anxiety. She wore this necklace to school and chewed on this instead. Within a month she has dropped her need to chew but still wears the necklace because she likes it!

Good for moderate chewers
This is great quality, however I wish it were more durable where the necklace part goes through. Unfortunately that's where my son chooses to chew at, the weakest point, so he's already almost chewed through it. The end part though, is very durable.

It's quite a large silicone piece on a fairly thin cord. My child does alright with it. Biggest complain is the squeaking noise it makes when chewed.
