NerfN-Strike Elite Rough Cut 2X4 Blaster

Definitely a good shotgun for Nerf wars. Feels very nice and smaller and lighter than I expected. Wildly inaccurate but the double-dart shot makes up for it -- and it makes it more like a real shotgun. Excellent for firing in an emergency when your opponent charges your position, because there's twice the ammo in the air for him to dodge. It's also good for small children, as the pump-action is made easy by the large grip and the light weight allows them to hold and fire.Pros:- Very shotgun-like- Twice the ammo in the air at one time- Awesome pump-action- Slam fire makes it really dangerous for spraying your opponents- Great emergency sidearm (in case your rifle jams when your enemy charges, which happens with my Retaliator a lot)Cons:- Wildly inaccurate- Single-shot hardly ever works because you need to put EXACTLY the right amount of pressure on the trigger (but that's not why I got the gun anyhow)

Our kids are getting older and moving away from "toys", however, NERF knows no age limits. As part of our enormous NERF collection this blaster is great. Multi-shot, but not too time consuming to load. Powerful - will put a "sting" in your opponent. Durable, well balanced and accurate. Fun toy for any age.

Appearance: The paint on it was not very clean which is strange to me because it is a New product. But the smooth look and wide top is awesome looking. It also is unique because it has two plunger and spring systems. Very cool.Size: A bit bigger than I thought but small enough to make a special holster for which is awesome.Fire Rate: Slam fire makes a great touch. It will shot as fast as you pump it and reload it! Very unique that it shoots two bullets at once which is really cool!Accuracy: Not as good as the Strongarm, it flys all over the place but it is more powerful than the strongarm for sure. It even shots 2 darts so if one gets hit my wind the other has a chance to hit the target.Feel: The grip, handle, and trigger is actually an amazing feel. It fits perfectly and has no ridges or anything.Over all I love this gun so much I might buy another! I only gave it 4 stars because of the accuracy is so bad and the paint job almost looks like it was used. Otherwise it is a grade B+ item in my opinion.

The gun works great. As other reviewers have said, it has 3 "firing modes", meaning that you have some flexibility when using this gun. Using it in sledge fire mode, the gun sounds really intimidating and is great for making an entire team duck at the same time.The only problem I have had is that the slide on the bottom tends to get stuck over the lip of the gun, making the slide inoperable. This has an easy fix, however. Just point the gun towards you and karate chop the slide away from you with a solid but soft hit (starting at the barrel end and hitting the slide towards the butt end). That should knock the slide over the lip and make it useable again. I've done this many times and have yet to damage the gun. If I fire slower, it tends to keep the slide from getting stuck like this.

Why the purchase? Well, our boss lady had us read the book called "Fish!" Yeah, it's an old book, and has been around a long time. It's a story on how one business uses techniques from a propering/thriving business that has co-workers that are working as a family/team. They throw fish, literally, as a means to have fun while at work. Well, that triggered a few of us, without discussing it, to commonly purchase Nerf guns. Heck, yeah!!! This will surely bring about some in-office fun!!!The item itself: As described, it does everything it says it will. Single shot, dual shot, and a four-way shot, all in how you press the trigger and use the compression slider. Half trigger fires off one rocket. Full trigger squeeze fires off two. One compression slide down, hold the trigger, and slide compression chamber up, fires off 4 Nerf rockets.Kid at heart: Hey, you don't have to be pre-teen to own one of these. I'm 44, and I tell you what, I will be having some fun with this as I target others with it in my office, while being targeted by them. Safe fun is what it's all about. This purchase will satisfy that request.

My stepson has a collection of around 25 Nerf guns and this new addition is by far the best for a Nerf battle. We have a Nerf battle about once a month in the house and whoever uses this gun wins. The velocity is higher than anything else he owns and when using new (not malformed by use) darts the accuracy great. Only drawback is the pump is a little hard to get the hang of. Would have been better with a semi-vertical foregrip.

UPDATE: Well, I really loved this thing and had put 5 stars on it until I tried the blue elite darts. Most of them fall out when pumping gun. Works fine with the white darts, pretty good with the green, but the blue will just not stay seated. Pumping causes them to pop half way out so they do not shoot. And today I noticed more green darts doing that as well. Maybe I got a lemon and need to contact Nerf. Sometimes you can get a really bad Nerf gun and just need to exchange it. I am a grown man but my son is really into Nerf so I have to get some for myself to have Nerf wars with him. This is one I picked and I really like it. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do, I got it intended to use as a backup, but now it is one of my main carries. In the picture and videos it looked interesting and I liked that it shot 2 darts at a time, (you can shoot just one dart, but it takes practice, and is hard to do while under fire) but it just seems way better now that I have it. It just feels good to shoot for some reason. Maybe the size fits me better ? Maybe because the cocking hammer is on bottom and easy to use. Maybe because it is like a short shotgun, bigger than a pistol, shorter than a rifle, 8 darts, lots of heft, and easy to shoot. Probably a combination of all those things.But don't buy one when they jack the price up. Check Hasbro recommended retail and pay under that, I hate how sometimes the price more than doubles on Amazon sometimes.

Waste of money ... Stopped working on 18 Mar 12 days after delivery. Can I exchange the product or how to get it repaired ?

この鉈のようなフォルムと凶悪な銃口の面構えに魅かれて購入しました。ところどころ塗装の微妙なマスキング漏れが見受けられますが、外国製オモチャでは普通レベルだと思います。オレンジトリガーとしては２挺目ですが、パワーの強さに驚きました。ふすま４枚分ほど先（約４m）に吊った標的に吸盤弾を撃つと、跳ね返る力の方が勝ってしまって８発中４発ほどしか吸着しないことがほとんどです。国内版のディスラプターではこのような事はありません。我が家の屋内射的環境では持て余します（苦笑外で撃つならバヒュンと飛んでくダーツを目で追うのが快感ですらありますが、遊び場所を考える必要がある、グレイトリガーのデチューンも意味あっての事だと改めて考えさせられた１挺でした。買って損したとは思ってませんよ、家の外に出てズバンズバンと２発づつポンプアクションで速射して並べた空ペットボトルを転ばしてゆくのがとても楽しいテッポーです（笑

I am very happy about the rough cut and shoots very well and I am having fun with it. Works all right, but when I use the slam fire for some time it starts to jam. That is the only problem with the gun. Thank God that I can fix the gun without removing the screws, other than that I am very happy with the product.
