Rothco Deluxe Black Nylon Swat Belt

I bought this for my 8 year old son, and he really enjoys it. The pouches are difficult to remove since the tabs on the back are barely wide enough to slide over the buckle - I had to cut one off so we could slide on a BB holster. He seems to enjoy the other pouches though. Plenty of room to store extra foam darts for his nerf toys. The belt adjusts all the way down to child size, and then up to adult size. I would not put anything heavy in the pouches as this seems to be merely a costume accessory, and not for heavy use.

Very good quality, thick materials used. I bought it as accessory for cat woman costume and it looked great. I believe would be durable for daily use too.

I bought this belt for use with a costume, however it wasn't quite what I expected. The pouches are pretty small, the belt and pouches feel fairly cheap. I could still use this for a costume, but it wasn't quite what I was after. For actual, real world use, I think this belt is unacceptable, it would not stand to the rigors of daily use. I do not think it was made for that though, I'm fairly certain this is for a costume. As a costume belt, it's okay. As a real belt, it is not good.

My belt arrived ahead of schedule, and it is exactly what I paid for. Spending $12 on a swat/ninja belt clearly will not yield the highest quality, but it is exactly what I need for my costume and will fit some money, my cellphone, and my keys that I'll be carrying around. The belt itself is 2" wide nylon web belt, pretty much standard issue. The clips are sturdy, so it seems, and the 49" belt easily fit down to my 35" hips. The pockets have a large, sturdy patch of velcro on them, so I'm not worried about anything falling out. The pouches are really only good for things like cellphones/keys/cash. I would not suggest storing anything like ammo. They would slide around if the belt were on someone bigger than myself. All in all, 4/5 for a great costume prop. 1 point off simply because it is not a super high quality product.

This belt is better than I thought it would be. I thought it would be made out of cheaper materials but it's not. The size is exactly what I thought it would be and the functionality is unlimited. You can put anything on this beast.

This should suit a sportsman's needs. The pockets aren't as whimpy as I read in other reviews. The belt is good. This whole thing is not as thick or heavy duty as the more expensive versions. If you are a cop or security then get a real heavy duty service belt. But this is not a toy either. Its good for a hunter, or militia wanna-be, like me. I think its good for the price.

Our 5 year old wears a batman costume nearly every day. LOVES it. Walking around North Pole or Fairbanks Alaska everybody loves seeing the kids in costume while out of season. For Christmas I wanted to get him a new costume (out grew & ripping the old one), I figured he needed to accessorize. This was one of the major components. Significantly too large for his little frame, but mom made it work. I don't know if I'd recommend it for any serious type of work, but for a costume, it is amazing. Corey

I was really nervous ordering this product as the product + shipping cost was just about $30.00 (Canadian). There are many mixed reviews about this product. I would rate this 4.5 out of 5. This is really made for costumes. It is thicker than it may seem in the photos. The pouches are movable and the belt is very adjustable. I am a small girl 5'3 ft and 100 pounds. So this product did not look too big or too chunky (just flat, which is fine because you can stuff them to make them puffy) . The reason why it did not get 5 out of 5 is because, you are not able to rearrange the pouches in different orders (can only slide around). The pouches are either too big or too small and the arrangement of pouches looks weird (I ended up cutting off 1 pouch). Other then that, the belt looks really cool and add character to any costume. I recommend this product. 4.5 / 5

Bought this for a fanexpo cosplay and it looks awesome and served it's purpose. Its a little cheaply made so it wouldnt be good for actually holding anything and the pockets are very small. Completed the look though
