Rubbermaid Commercial Products Fridge/Freezer Monitoring Thermometer

Works perfectly in both my freezer and refrigerator. Accurate. Great price, easy to read. Definitely would recommend.

I purchased two of these Rubbermaid Commercial Fridge/Freezer Thermometers - one for the refrigerator side and one for the freezer side of my unit. Both appear to work excellently. I checked their accuracies by initially placing them alongside another thermometer which was previously used daily by a professional refrigeration specialist. The two new Rubbermaid Commercial Thermometers which I purchased both appear to be spot on accurate.

Excellent! I’m using this in my deep freezer. I’m so glad I didn’t get a battery operated model vs this old school model. This takes the temp perfectly and I’m confident my frozen food is safe.

I have used this for over a year and I leave one in the freezer door and the other one goes on the middle shelf of my fridge. Works absolutely fantastic. I can NOT stress enough the following the printed "safe" ranges make taking a quick glance totally thought free to verify the actual temperature is within safe ranges. An absolute MUST with a product like this. One set of pictures is in the fridge, the other set is in the freezer. This was to test how accurate they were to each other. One is about 1 - 2 degrees off of the other. Not great, but not terrible. So I give it a 3/5 on accuracy. The concerning part is if you bought only ONE you wouldn't know how close to reality it is -- unless you checked. But 1 or 2 degrees isn't the end of the world. It's great to know if my fridge or freezer is having major temperature excursions -- because you would not know otherwise! If you don't have one. Ask your self. How do you *REALLY* know your fridge or freezer is cold enough? Heck, it could even be TOO COLD and you are wasting energy!

Don't buy a digital, just don't. They are too sensitive and their margin of error due to the quality of the sensors is too wide, and it could be as much as a 3-5 degree difference. I have two identical digital humidity and temperature sensors and one reads consistently 3% more humidity and 4 degrees higher temperatures. This is dead simple, and it has a easy to read "safe zone" for both a refrigerator and a freezer. I can just look at it and know if everything is still okay. I tried some with bluetooth and found the batteries just evaporated, and while the convenience of notifications/alerts and such was nice, they just became another chore for me. This thermometer is dead simple, no maintenance and accurate enough. The stability of the reading is nice, meaning it doesn't jump up because I opened the door, for instance. Which is what the digital thermometers did. Since this is metal, I expect it to be durable and long lasting, and dead simple.

It’s good having these so I know that my refrigerator and freezer are at the correct temperature.
