On the other hand, the gloves barely come up past my elbow, not full opera length (halfway up the upper arm is appropriate).I bought these for my Jessica Rabbit costume, and they'll do for the costume, but I'm disappointed in the length.I do think it's possible that since I need the extra inch in my fingers, that somehow took up some of the stretch that would have made them longer up the arm? As mentioned by others, the fingers are a bit small, but my hands are rather large. In the glove's defense, they do stretch quite a bit and will be fine for a semi-formal event. They look rather elegant and are certainly as long as described. Just be aware that they are polyester, not satin. I am happy overall. I've read from other reviews that they do tend to snag, which is absolutely the case. So while not appropriate for an ultra formal occasion, if I am careful they certainly look nice and will fulfill their purpose for the evening.
