Very comfortable boot.
Working in a sugar refinery I trash work boots. Several months in these are holding up very well. Rubbed in a couple spots for a day or two but broke in well. The treated leather is holding up well to the high and low Ph I encounter at work every day. They won’t last forever in this environment but so far are holding up better than two different pairs of redwings boots I went through last season. They are pretty heavy and have a ton of padding so they are going to be on the rack for the summer months. The insoles are very comfy and I didn’t have to swap them out for dr. Sholls like I normally do. I also love that around the ankle there are hooks for the laces instead of eyelets so when you put the boots back on you can just step right into them instead of using your hands to put them on. I have a very wide foot especially around the toes, the wide size fit perfect. The fit is pretty much the same as the wide size of a redwings king toe. Can confirm water proof up to about the ankle.

Durable and definitely heat resistant. Trash laces.
Love these boots! They have a good amount of room for wider footed individuals and are sturdy enough to hold up through a year+ of 60 hr weeks! The laces… not so much. Those things fell apart within a month. The sole definitely holds up to the heat like they say it will. I work around steam a lot and have never left a bookmark stuck to the equipment since the switch. Had a pair of other boots melt to the grate I was standing on after venting steam, with these guys I can even stand on a steam drum without them melting! Though, as you might expect, your toes do still get a little toasty if you stand around too long on something hot.Waterproofing works great and is very reliable while still having some breathability! Can walk in as deep as 5” of water without worrying of them overtopping! They’re about as heavy as you’d expect from such a sturdy, pair of Electrically insulated boots. Well worth the investment just make sure you pick up a good set of laces to go with them!PS, this recommendation assumes you NEED boots this beefy for work. There are absolutely cheaper options that hold up just as well for most professions! Techs in O&NG and corrugated will love these though!

Forget about Caterpillar or Timberland. They look fantastic, super comfortable, absolutely second to none!!!

Worst work boot for all day walking
These boots are way too sturdy for anyone who stands and walks 8-10 hour days. We thought they would break in after a few weeks of wearing, but that didn’t happen. What did happen was blisters on my partners foot. We just missed the return window because he didn’t start wearing them until March. Hoping to get a full refund on a $235 pair of boots that he can’t wear. Stay tuned for update.

Comfortable
Only worn one week walking average 15,000 steps a day but comfortable although a bit heavy at first. Laces definitely need replacing for they untie easily.

Best boots ever
These are my second pair. The first pair I still have but after 2 years of solid everyday use, the sole started to separate. I am going to have them fixed but in the mean time I got a second set. They keep my feet protected and water proof and I can go thru metal detectors without having to remove my shoes. They are worth every penny. How I found these shoes was I just started a new job and the boots I got from Walmart hurt my feet so bad I almost couldn't walk. So I stopped at a barebones workware and said" what do you have in size 14" cause when you are a size 14 you learn that is the better question to ask. They had these and 2 other styles/brands when I put these on my feet they stopped hurting right then. Well I guess that sums it up and they were 250 bucks the most I have ever paid for shoes and worth every penny.

Great support but
These offer great support and very durable but super heavy and bulky. I woke my wife up walking around the house getting ready for work. She said they are loud.

severe ankle chafing. Thick socks required
These came recommended and when I looked at the store to try on, the person was raving about them and sad that their store didn't sell them unfortunately. I tried them on and went for a short walk with my dog to start breaking them in. To my disappointment the collar/shaft tore my ankles to shreds; not only blistering but causing swelling that took a few weeks to subside. I reluctantly returned them and my search for the right boot for me continues. Please note that I have thin ankle which most likely didn't help the cause. The boot itself came promptly and in good shape from the seller. it was returned with no issues hence the 4 stars

Comodidad
Es una bota cómoda y algo grande. Se siente grande pero es porque esta acolchonada por dentro. Se ajusta bien pero se siente grande
