Impressed & In Love!
Incredible. Today (after receiving this) is the first time I’ve ever touched a singing bowl. At first, I couldn’t get it to sing AT ALL. Not even close. So I watched a couple of quick videos on YouTube. That helped a bit, especially once I realized I could use the wooden end (instead of the leather end). I kept doing it over and over, then managed to hold out the singing longer and longer. In between my practicing, I was still attempting to use the leather end, with no luck. Another thing that was initially tricky was when I’d get in the grove, the bowl would shift some in my palm, messing me up— I’ve been able to overcome that as well, by not fighting with the bowl but becoming one with the bowl. I’ve had this bowl for less than three hours, literally, and I can now use the leather end to make the bowl sing SO BEAUTIFULLY. I can even influence the sound at will, with EITHER end, AND even with my eyes closed while feeling relaxed. Learning how to play my bowl included a process of getting to know and connecting with it. I even would stop to look at the eye inside of of it and visualize connecting my own third eye to it, and I’d essentially communicate a feeling of “alrighty, help me out here, let’s do this,” and the more familiar, open and friendly I allowed myself to be with it, the quicker and easier it became to be able to produce the sounds and feelings I desired. I’ve been to sound healing sessions, I’ve seen and heard singing bowls in person, and I saw and heard them on YouTube, and I do not see ANY POSSIBLE WAY this bowl could be improved! The quality and craftsmanship is breathtakingly wonderful. I remember seeing a negative review regarding the price, and I realized that I couldn’t think of any other single quality/real musical instrument priced under a hundred bucks! Considering the POWER and benefits of this instrument, the fact that I can simply take and use it anywhere, knowing it’s not ever going to glitch or malfunction or require me to download updates or take it to a professional for tuning, etc., etc., etc., it’s worth every penny, FOR SURE. The most exciting thing for me right now is knowing that my experiences with my bowl are only going to improve and expand!

They LOVE it!
I've been learning about contemplative prayer, and how the use of a Tibetan Singing Bowl can enhance the experience. I had been searching for one to purchase, but they can be very expensive. This bowl was the perfect choice for me. It's not just a piece of art and excellent craftsmanship, but it sounds beautiful! I like to lightly thrust the wood mallet on the bowl's side to create a clean resonating chime. Although it took a little practice, I can also create a bright clear tone by firmly pressing the mallet against the bowl's rim in a circular motion - like stirring a cauldron. Besides the bowl and mallet, it comes with a beautiful wool like donut shaped pillow to sit it on. I HIGHLY recommend this Tibetan Singing bowl set for it's beauty and fine craftsmanship.

Fantastic
The sound is incredible and the bowl sings with such ease - as if to communicate that to sing is it’s only desire. The energy produced by the bowl is extraordinary, harmonizing and so peaceful. I wish to thank the tradesmen who’ve crafted such amazing gifts, and then choose share these gifts with the world. I will treasure mine always! If you are first learning, this is an easy bowl to learn on - however, I would recommend beginners/first-time buyers do a little research first - I spend time picking the bowl that “spoke” to me and I’m very glad I took the time to do this (Thank you Ohm Store!) - as well as watch some YouTube videos to “see” the techniques that will produce which sounds. I would recommend these to first-time bowl owners or to anyone who appreciates a well crafted great sounding bowl. They would make a fabulous gift (if you feel you know a person well enough - to choose one - or buy them a gift card to choose their own).

Delightful bowl!
I gave it 5 stars for excellent sound and quality. Pillow is a bit overstuffed. I personally like felt doughnut rings better, but the fabric of the pillow is nice. Just my preference. I realized that I have purchased other items besides singing bowls from the Ohm store and nothing has disappointed me. I will note that the bowl I received is note A though. Given that it is a yoni bowl, I was expecting it to be tuned to the sacral chakra and therefore be note D. That made much more sense to me and am confused a bit by the A note. I'm not sure if the notes of the bowls vary bowl to bowl or not. The sound of the bowl is great though. Mallet is great quality and can be used on either end. I have other bowls and mallets and I actually use this mallet with all my other bowls and I get better sound now out of my other bowls now. All in all, I am pleased.

I am very pleased with my purchase
I want to start with- I have never owned a singing bowl before and I've only tried twice while inside a store that sold them. I am very pleased with my purchase. It sings easily and sounds nice(for me). It still sounds a bit worbley but I'm pretty sure that's because I still need practice. It's a perfect size for me- I have small hands (I'm 5'), I can hold it in my palm and on the tips of my fingers as well. I didn't want something huge but I also wasn't something bigger. The same brand has the exact same product in a 3 or 3.5 inch one, but I'm glad they offered a 4". The stick is okay, but I'm not very picky about that- you can get those anywhere. It was a little rough around some of the edges so I did a little sanding. Just note, that sanding takes off the stain on the wood. I didn't need to sand the entire thing though. The pillow was cute. You can use the pillow while making it sing and I think with larger hands it's best to use it. It sits just fine on the pillow as long as you're not agressive with the bowl. I needle felt and didn't care for the pattern so I felted over it- I only mention this because the pillow won't be in any of the pictures I post.

Great sounds for frequencies and healing energy vibration
Well done seems sturdy I would love to know what the healing mantra engravings mean ? It’s beautiful fits perfectly in the palm of my hand it signs based on your hand and vibration energy ! My mom was amazed how she felt a vibration on her 3Rd eye energy chakra point. I played the different sounds from the wooden striker through both ears and root and heart chakras . She felt relaxed. As for me man is just amazing how healing this sounds are I play before bed for meditation and focus . PS I didn’t use the pillow holder bc it seems like it would fall out of my palm.

Has an amazing and vibrant tone to it
I spent about 2 days researching different brands and looking at customer reviews and honestly I have to say that this was definitely the one for me, it's not so small that it falls out of your hand when you play it, it keeps the noise for relatively long and I don't think that's the price is unfair for what the value is
