Electriduct (LG1) Large Latching Surface Cable Raceway Wall Wire Concealer and Cord Manager - (5 x 58 Inch Sticks = 24FT) - White

I had purchased some other units that came in 18.5" pieces and found them inadequate for my situation. I had a heavy gauge power cord, thick coax, and 2 cat 16 cables. The other models could not handle the 4 cables, they buckled and popped open. These units length made a much nicer install and appearance. I did not use the adhesive strip they have pre-mounted. I left the paper on and drilled mounting holes and screwed in place using #4 screws and anchors. Mainly so I could make them removable without damaging the walls. For my use I would have preferred the adhesive tape to not be pre-installed. Since they do not come with covers for the joints, I just cut out the interior sections where they met and butted them up. Drilling and screwing was difficult because the cover has to be pried open to access the interior of the channels. Requires help. The appearance was very good and passed the wife acceptance factor (the most important feature). I basically knocked off a star on the easy to install and remove because of the double sided tape pre-installed. Otherwise these are quite superior and were perfect for my install.

The connector fits the raceway, but the white on the connector is more of a light gray compared to the raceway. Now I'm going to have to paint it which gets -2 stars if I need to fix an issue with the product.

Not designed to be outside in the heat. The first I took the tape off and it would not stick. Even after I screw it to the wall, ( new strip) it still pull away from the wall.

great quality, product as described.took a star off because the double sided tape doesnt hold vertically (cleaned the surface nicely to help it out), had to screw it in.

First off, I am not a carpenter. I just recently learned that loop on your pants is for holding a hammer.But installing this channel for an audio cable around a door was a snap.There are very strong stickers on the back of the channel that help you hold the unit in place. The channel opens easily and allows you to put large cables in it. I would recommend a hack saw for cutting pieces to size. Being this was a permanent fix, I did use a wood screw to secure each piece on each end to the wall. In low traffic areas, I did not use a screw and just used the adhesive attached to the unit. They are holding up fine as well.Upsides:Quick to install and little skill needed.Downside:I live in Alaska, so they wouldn't ship me the corner pieces or connecting pieces, but Amazon did ship the 60" long sections for free (figured that out). I was able to go directly to the seller and get the extra pieces, but it was an extra step that was unnecessary.

I'm finishing off the patio portion of a major remodel which includes many potted plants and low voltage accent lighting. The border wall is concrete block so the wiring and 1/4" water lines to the pots couldn't be hidden in the wall. I used these as "baseboards" and ran both my low voltage lighting wires and the 1/4" water lines through them. When I needed to have a water line or lighting cable exit the channel, I just drilled a hole and then caulked it. I also used backer bead and caulk to seal the ends. I used the tape backing just to hold the channel in place while I secured it with masonry screws. I'm very pleased with the outcome. It gives the patio a nice, clean, finished look. I'm not sure how they will hold up to sun exposure but where I've used them gets very little sun.

Really good cable raceways. Nice to be able to find black cable raceway. Large enough to comfortably hold about 10-12 Cat5e cables. Cover snaps fairly easy. Stickiness is fairly good. Works best on smooth surfaces. Will not adhere to wood all that great. Found myself anchoring with screws as needed. Only complaint is the protective tape cover strip. Fairly difficult to remove. Would be nice is they would leave a little extra on the ends to more easily remove. Other than that easy to work with. Would also be nice to have more corner/elbow options.

Extremely well made and easy to install. I needed something for the basement ceiling joists as we were having a contactor remodel and paint the joist flat black. I wanted to clean up as much wiring as possible before he painted and these worked great. They hide and protect the tv cable, phone, ethernet and alarm wiring. For any future cable runs I can also pop these open, run the wiring and close them back up with a snap.
