Best DJ Controller I Have Ever Purchased !
Before buying this controller, year before I purchased the Ponieer DDJ-RR. My first controller and it works very good and I love that one for beginniner. Then later on, I went online to find another type and I found this one. I love Ponieer and there products but I wanted to try something different from another brand and also different software that this controller comes with which is the Serato DJ. So I tried it and it toke me little while to set up. You’ll need to make sure you have the requirements that the software needs and hook up properly. This controller is by far the best I have ever used. I’d recommend this one. You can also use this controller for Virtual DJ software which is the first One I use. Sure you pay a lot more for it but in end you’ll love that you did because I will tell you why. When you DJ, you have these beautiful classy platters. It’s motorized and they do actually turn at speed your playing your music ! It comes with real Vinyl. You put together the platters on correctly and then you place the vinyl with a screw to tighten and it’s awesume how you move that vinyl to search and scratch the way you want it. It’s classy and for the DJ world it gives that authentic feel of the older days. I wouldn’t classify myself as a pro DJ yet but even for beginner such as myself. You’ll love this unit and it’s smooth, it’s beautiful and beleive me it’s built like a tank like they say. It will be big and heavy and you’ll need a good strong stand for it. Amazon also sells those with the controller if you wish. It has cool features that comes with the purchase like DJ samples and effects that you can add to your mix. So I definitely would recommend this controller to any DJ That uses a good laptop and another thing it has is these beautiful three screens for you heads up display. When you play your tracks you’ll be able to adjust and see your waveforms, you can place cue marks and see where you can drop your other song into the mix. So it’s definitely worth the money and it’s very strong. Way to go Numark. I hope you’ll love it and appreciate it as much as I did. Peace ✌️

NUMARK NS7 III Awesome!
Where to start so close to perfect compared to the DDJ series if you started DJ'ing on CD Decks then you probably will be more comfortable but for my OG Turtable-ist DJ's the NS7 III does it all plus another #100. Customize the torque from the feel of 1200's, Numark's, the new Roland and others, so you will get the feel that you like. The pads are awesome of course. Great investment if you are looking for a pro controller that is well built (for the most part I had a mic drop on my FX buttons and they fell in so for FX I use another channel ): I did get a RMA for it but I could not stand to part with it for up to six weeks so thats on me) But thats how bad azz it is it was not the cost of shipping it was like it was gonna be gone 6 weeks shoot you can have my wife for six weeks my kids too before I let this go that long 5++++++STARS Also I got the FREE Flight Case which sealed the deal!!!

A major regret for me
At first i was really happy with the controller. Closest thing you can get to technics. The controller is heavy especially with a case but for me it wasnt an issue and worth it. Everything seemed to work at first but as I got to know the controller more and more, I began to run into more and more problems. Before I knew it, it was too late to return the product. After some trouble shooting, the major problem now is the mpc pad. The response on right mpc 1st cue pad is bad and doesnt respond at times. Currently waiting on technical support to get mines repaired. Not happy I have to spend more money to get this repaired update 11/14/16 : waited two months to get my controller repaired, told me my unit could not be repaired so they sent me a new one. when i got me the new unit, the fader was bad and the right side mpc pad still had the same problem. Its like they sent me back my old controller, took my custom skins and put in a junk fader and tell me its a new one. the first mpc pad still doesn't work when hitting my cues from time to time, so it throws off my mix transition. customer support was always nice to me but the last guy i spoke to was really rude and sounded like he was blaming me for the controller issues. I worked with many controllers (vci 300,380,400) and I had been through 4 mixers for my technics 1200. never had these much problems before. they sent me a new fader but doesnt matter, im done with numark.

Very disappointed but still love numark products
Was so excited to finally upgrade from my nvii to the ns7iii . the thing is built like a tank and is huge . was nice playing on a large controller where nothing felt cramped . BUT , the bad news is this controller gave me problems straight out of the box after assembly . first the audio is not very good on this thing . i have my audio running through a behringer amp and my nvii still sounds better . played a set on it and couldnt keep the waveforms in sync with or without the sync button on but it did work a little better with sync on . the waveform would be out of sync when it comes from the right and by time it got to the middle it was it showed it was in sync again but it was not . started looking for fixes on the internet , first to calibrate , then adjust the torque and the adjustment in the platter height to get less drag . nothing made it better except turning off the platters and that kind of defeats the purpose of owning that controller . it worked better with them off but still had problems staying in sync . I didn't like that i couldnt completely stop the song from playing witht the platters running it would just slow it down no matter what settings i had it on . updated my S dj software and everytime i turned the controller on i had to calibrate it to get it to work a ittle better than it was . when ur playing and you hit the stop button it doesnt stop immediately , has a little chirrrp sound . mash it once it would sound that way , mash it again and it would stop immediately , just was all over the place even after calibrating the start stop knobs . also when you turn the platter off and it stops the platter rocks back and forth a few times causing a wierd scratching sound . i never experienced anything like this when using my ttx-1's back in the day . also some of the button placements should've been coppied for the nvii , some just seemed out of place . i love numark products but this ns7iii is a huge fail in my opinion . i will stick with my nvii for the time being , love the little guy . thankfully amazon was extremely helpful in trying to diagnose the problems and quickly gave me a refund

Awesome controller
This controller is top notch. It makes all other controllers seem like toys. This is well built, very sturdy and the quality of all the pads and buttons is the best I've seen. For beginners it is not recommended. It is also very expensive so learn on a cheap one then upgrade. I;m giving three stars because Serato sucks. It clips randomly when loading a song, it also takes much longer to load a new song when the other deck is playing. I understand that it is not the controller but since its made to work specifically with Serato, it should have been tested more extensively to insure 100% functionality. It is not my laptop since the only thing running is Serato. Its also new laptop I purchased specifically for this. Yes, it is an i7 with 512tb SSD. The screens are helpful, however there are is no grid so you have to use the wave only. Also, the BPM is way off on the controller screens even when it's the same song. But I love the controller. It is so much fun using it. I hope these issues are fixed on Serato's end.

Top notch metal mixer!
I LOVE the metal surface, and touches unlike the usual mixer plastic feel. All knobs are top notch. It's heavy so probably best to keep it in a stationary place, although a good case with wheels can help with transport. You need a laptop for Serato download, but not necessary for watching during a performance (you can hide it out of sight). That being said, it is very important to have your music files organized (i.e., the better organized, the easier it is to access your music). You can connect turntables, though not necessary and defeats the purpose of having everything on one board. I would recommend this among the best all around mixers. The metal is top notch, with good resistance, which really sets this apart from plastic.... It simply looks and feels professional.

It’s okay
It’s a great controller just one flaw, it glitches when I am mixing two songs together it happened a few times already. I’m hoping it doesn’t get worse.

It is amazing tho and will blow you away
Those used to midi controllers bare in mind this is not portable. It is amazing tho and will blow you away. Oby pioneer have come close to this but their motorised platters are crap compared to numarks.
