No assembly required/Sturdy build
I used to own another bar on the less expensive end, and my main concern with that one was, build, that depending which one you get it may be more difficult to put together as the cheaper ones are not necessarily built with good tolerances, so you may need elbow grease to get the job done. Additionally, the cheap ones, have a foam that again depending on brand can get crispy and mess up your door frame paint (you may turn the paint black, or even pull pieces of paint as it gets stuck if you leave it on for long)This piece of equipment comes fully assembled, simply pull the support bars until they lock, and hand it to the door frame. The equipment is rather sturdy and pretty stable, however im following the manual's recommendations, to not exceed weight limit of 400lbs and no swinging or kipping (cross-fitters do this).Really good value, fast shipping.

Pretty Good & Worth Purchasing
Love that there was no setup required for this. Materials are light but of good quality. Even though I’m <140#, I like that this can handle more than 400#. It gives me more peace of mind especially since I tend to add weight to my exercises whenever I use a pull-up bar.I’ve only used this today, but so far seems sturdy and hasn’t left marks or damage to the doorframe/wall. Padding is in all the right places. I love that there’s a D-ring as an option to hook things like a TRX band, punching bag, etc at the center of the bar.Folding the hooks so the pull-up bar can store flat is a huge bonus. It’s hard to find doorway pull-up bars like these that are sturdy but can still be considered compact and not a burden to put away.

Great Bar for the Money
Came a day late but not an issue with me. This bar is completely assembled and ready to go...just compress the two arm springs and turn them until they lock in place and attach it to your doorway. This unit is wide, so if your door of choice is close to a wall or corner, it may not work. It’s very sturdy and looks like it will last a good long time. I took off one star because the pads on the bar that rests on the molding is hard plastic and will damage the wood, so be prepared to find some thin, dense foam to glue on these pads. So far everyone who has visited my house has jumped up on it and tried a few since it’s in a doorway off my kitchen. Funny stuff! The bar remains in place during use and you don’t feel it flex or bend in any way. Worth every penny!

Good Value - Just Add Adhesive Felt Padding.
Good bang for the buck. Quality is acceptable at this price point.Note that one plastic end-cap was damaged from shipping, but not a factor for functionality. I tossed the elastic strap that came with, as it looked like a cheap freebee they added, it's probably dangerous, so I have no use for it.The biggest factor is the hard plastic door frame protectors. - Like other reviewers mentioned, it will damage your door frame.Hold on! I bought it anyway because it offers a large flat area surface instead of other models that are round. So there is a fix. Use 2x4" heavy duty felt pads with adhesive peel and stick backing. I had to trim one edge of the felt with a utility knife. This is a $4 fix that applies some very thick felt padding meant for furniture legs on hardwood floors. So it's an ideal material to pad your pull-up bar against a woodenn doorframe. I also added a small 1x3/4" square felt to the face of the little arms to pad the opposite doorframe. The felt comes in a 3-pack 2x4", about $3.80. so total cost for bar and padding was $30.I'm 208lb as tested. Worked great so far.

Just what I was looking for
I was hesitant to purchase a chin-up bar for the doorway because my experience with them in the past has been less than desirable. I decided to give this one a shot thinking if I didn't like it then I would send it back. It is better than expected. I can do semi-wide grip chins, pull-ups, and close grip no problem and very sturdy. Bonus it is also a good place to secure bands. Gyms are closed due to COVID as I am writing this so for now it will have to due.

No gym required
I got this since I wasn't going to the gym in 2020 and didn't want to go backwards in my progress on pull ups. Easy to put up. I put this into the doorway of my walk-in closet, so it's right there, hard to forget about it and easy to knock out a few every day. I was doing assisted pull ups at the gym, so have been standing on a stool to get to the top of the form and lowering myself down as slowly as I can. Not as good as an assisted pull up, but at least I won't be starting over totally when I go back to the gym next year.

Works great - easy setup
Product is very sturdy and has left no door marks that I can see when propping up in the door frame. The hooks folding for storage is a huge plus. Would recommend for anyone in the market for a pull up bar.

alright pull up bar for temporarily use
The installation is quite easy. But the hook on the door frame leaves dark stain. It would be better to duck tape the two hooks to leave the wall above door frame clean. For the bar it self, not sure how sturdy it would go to since I am only 108lbs. But every time I hold up myself on the bar I could hear a click. And it is specified you could only do up and down motion for this bar. So a TRX could not work.
