It's beautifully made and looks lovely in the living room, however it's not worth the money. Set it up the first day and everything worked fine, however I noticed that it was very warm by the time I turned it off. Cleaned it and filled it up the next day and it wasn't working. Opened the lid and all the vapor came out, but for some reason it wouldn't come out of the hole at the top. I thought it was user error and dumped some of the water. A couple hours later I checked it and noticed that it was very warm and again there was no vapor. I opened the top (as it was running) and noticed that the little round plastic disk had partially melted off and that the water was extremely hot. This of course caused the oils to break down and no longer have any scent to them. I again cleaned it out and filled it up. After slit running for about an hour (without the little round plastic piece inside) there was a puddle on the stand it was on. Because that little piece was no longer attached, the water was jumping out of the little hole meant for the vapor. As beautiful as this little defuser it, I had better luck with less expensive plastic ones.
