Hanes Absolutely Ultra Sheer Women's Control Top, Sheer Toe Pantyhose

I bought these to replace opaque tights. They are sheer and look great under a more dressed up look. They are delicate as expected. I hand washed them and no problem. I wore them under boots and no runs. If you want a change from the opaque tights especially now that spring is here and need something to hold you in these fit the bill. TTS

These are some of the worst sheer tights i’ve ever used, and I realllly expected better cus they’re Hanes. I’m 5’6, around 120lbs. 29in inseam. I got the B size based on the size chart and they juuuust barely fit. Within five minutes of putting them on, I got two runs. Thankfully I had a second pair. Within a few minutes of putting the second pair on, I started seeing sagging/bunching in the knees and ankles. There’s virtually no stretch in the leggings, which leads to the material not bouncing back if you bend your legs etc, and it kinda just….sags in a weird way in weird places instead of hugging your body properly. If I had sized up, the sagging would have been worse. If i had sized down, they probably wouldn’t have fit at all. The other issue is that there’s a weird stretch pattern/texture that shows up once you put the tights on — it almost looks like stretch marks. So the texture of the material is really not even. Such a strange design/material choice. They basically felt completely disposable, which is not what I’d expect from a brand like Hanes. I usually get the Calvin Klein ones but they’re no longer available on Amazon. Absolutely cannot recommend these.

I am very fair skinned and needed a pair of hose to give a little color but not too dark or else it would be obvious I was wearing hose. If you are looking for an almost invisible hose and are fair skinned I recommend the Natural color. They were slightly smaller than I expected but I would rather them be tight than loose so I was okay with that. Just make sure to use the size chart. They are thinner material which makes them invisible but due to them being so thin they probably won't last past being worn a few times. I am so happy with them though that I will gladly buy them again even knowing they may not last long.

I’ve worn Hanes for years. It is quite difficult to find stockings now. As always, Amazon to the rescue. Hanes still has the same quality & comfort as I expected. They were well-packaged, and no runs. The fit is great. My favorite color: Barely There. UPDATE: I have worn my stockings several times. I am curvy, with smaller waist, and hips & butt. I’m not “obese”. The point is, these stockings have good “control top” support, without gasping for air. They have the stretch I need. They don’t sag at the ankles, and the color blends so well with my complexion. My mom asked me, “are you wearing stockings”? So, it may depend on your body style. They arrived “new”, and well packaged. I will be ordering more, and as I lose weight, a smaller size.

Hanes Absolutely Ultra Sheer Pantyhose are pretty good But for years I have not found the size to fit me. example, when I purchase a size E it still doesn’t fit me I wear an size F according to the back of the pantyhose information They don’t make them for women who have larger buttocks, who wear a size 16 in pants

Only after a few hours of wear, my entire right foot tore through these and I got a 3 inch wide run up to my knee. The texture was also very rough and cheap feeling. Do not purchase.

I wish the quality was a little better, the weave seems a bit less silky soft than the name would imply, and the threads are a bit more visible when worn than I would like. I was aiming for nude oantyhose that wouldn’t look like I was wearing any to the casual glance. This color was weird for me, it’d just a soft white with no flesh tone to it, but the travel buff color matched my neutral undertone, very pale skin very well, but due to the weave they’re still slightly noticeable as pantyhose when worn. I also did not care for the sandalfoot, I found it uncomfortable. For the price, though, they’re nice.

These are so sheer they look like you have no pantyhose on. They give good support at the control top, and the color was a pretty close match for my skin. I have scars at my ankles and while they didn’t cover them up, they certainly lessened the appearance in a way that made people not notice. I will buy again.

Pricey but nice

Purchased for my girlfriend. Great value and pantyhose fit as expected, very sheer and high quality.

Most of the Hanes pantyhose I buy is of good quality. But these "ultra sheer" pantyhose are made of a non-stretchy material that falls down on my legs. There are noticeable folds on my ankles when I wear them. They are not comfortable pantyhose. They feel loose on your legs because of the unusual material. It's too bad that these pantyhose don't work because they're a beautiful color and look nice on my legs.
