Has most the higher end hobby grade radio features you normally need or want without the big cost. Menu fairly easy to use tho a first timer might be overwhelmed at the beginning. Display was easy to read even for my older eyes. Buttons large and easy to use and enclosed lipo battery working just fine. Support for 3 channels so enough for most use.Few shortcomings, the labeling on buttons doesn’t always make logical sense when working with the menus. The steering wheel is fixed so lefty’s outta luck. Steering wheel to me size good and feedback tension ok but wish it didn’t protrude so far out like it does but that personal preference. It is very light weight, so much so could be blown over on a windy day if stood on its base, the small lipo most likely reason for that but battery still up to task for hours of use (go figure).I picked up a spare extra receiver for another ground vehicle. Cheap so again cost factor makes this setup a very good purchase. If I was still semi pro racing Rc racing- no, this not good enough but for backyard bashing, simple crawler use and local meet at the park and run with friends sure, worth it and a big step up from basic toy radios. The Exponential feature alone worth it (nothing better than reducing steering servo twitchy feel at high speeds with expo control). Can support (internal memory 10 models) and even came with a spare grip and bind jumper, charging cord.Conclusion- decent upgrade for those 2.4 ghz toy like rc car’s and truck's that use separate receivers in 1/16th scale and up that could really use full featured options (like exponential) and a bit more range.
