Gorgeous!
I first got these in size 9 (dark brown), considering what some reviews had said about the boots being a size or two too small. When I got them, they were pretty huge on my feet and legs.I'm size 7 1/2-8M (medium) with muscular calves and the 9's were pretty loose all around, even with socks. There was about an inch of foot space that needed to be filled in so my foot wouldn't be dancing everywhere in the boot and the ankles and calves were even more loose (so I might have the chicken legs some reviews talk about). Then I took a look in the mirror and they just looked so chunky and heavy.I exchanged them for the size 8 ones and I am so happy I did! They fit perfectly all around! I can tuck my skinny jeans in them and there is still a bit of room and my feet are very comfortable in the cushioned interior ( ;) there's even a little extra foot space!). Easy to slip in and out of. The bridge part was very slightly tight, but nothing to complain about at all, that will also help keep 'em in place and not moving around as I walk. I was hoping they would be a bit taller though. I'm 5'2" and they were 3 1/2 inches below my knee instead of 2" (they were 2" below my knee in size 9). The insole can be removed!Overall, they look well made of high quality rubber and very cute and fashionable!! Love 'em!!

Heavy, tight - but stylish and comfortable
I'm a big fan of this brand, as I have a pair of Kamik's rain boots in a different style.PROS:- These are so stylish, fashionable and beautiful! So basically, you'll look great in rainy weather. (It's actually difficult to find stylish rain boots.)- Comfortable (I've tried popular Chinese brands, but they just don't feel comfortable. But these do.)CONS:- Man, they're heavy! We're talking really heavy! (I usually don't like heavy footwear... But I guess I can think of this as a "workout" to move my legs with all this weight, lol...)- Like others are saying, these are very tight in terms of the calf and also the height in the foot area. So it's kinda hard to even take them off. And also, they may end up feeling uncomfortably tight if swollen feet.Having said that, despite the drawbacks, I'm keeping them because (a) I have trust in this brand as I've had great experience with it, and (b) they look so stylish and nice.

great boots, i really like them
I really like the Kamik brand especially for their treads. I needed a rain/muck boot for the homestead as my current rainboot was on its last leg. These I got on super sale. If I had paid regular price I most likely would have sent them back, however for $16 I can't put a lot of complaint out there. They do run snug as you try to get your foot into them and take them off but once they are on they fit perfectly. I think the two key elements you need to make these boots work for you are: a) thin, at minimum ankle height socks and b) a boot jack. I am used to waking up in the morning and just slipping on my muckboots with bare feet to run out to let the chickens out. I can't do that easily with these so I have learned to keep a pair of socks tucked into my boots to slip on first. I have been able to get bare feet in them but it isn't an easy task. Then when I am done doing my farm chores I come back in and have a boot jack at each entrance. These slip right off easy peasy with the boot jack so I HIGHLY recommend spending the $11-15 for one. I got mine at Big R (local feed store but Amazon has some too!). I have noticed the more I have used them they are stretching just a teeny tiny bit where some days I can take them off without the jack. The navy and pink are adorable and add just a little bit of girly fun to an otherwise not so girly activity. I did also purchase the size 9 and although I could slip my foot in easier it was a bit large. The 9s were full price about $50 so the $16 size 8 won out, otherwise I may have kept the size 9. Too bad they don't come in half sizes!

Good cold-weather rain boots - if they actually fit you.
Pros- Very cute- Seem to be great quality- Good for cold weatherCons- VERY tight across the top of my foot- Size 8 fits more like a 7.5 in the foot bed- Very heavy- May not be good for a warm spring dayAs a disclaimer, I got these to replace a pair of thin, clear rain boots that I had for 7 years that finally cracked through the soles. I loved those rain boots and so I'm probably biased. These rain boots appear to be very well made, and they are very cute. The upper material is flexible but seems sturdy, and the sole looks like it would hold up for a long time. The main issue I had with these is that they are extremely tight across the top of the foot. I've never had this problem with any pair of shoes/boots before, and I don't know my feet to be abnormally shaped in any way. Removing the removable insoles does help just a bit.. but the insoles are probably only a millimeter or two thick, and the foot bed under them is not smooth - it is a hard plastic lattice on the heel that is not comfortable to walk on, so not using insoles is not really an option.I am 5'6" and 130lbs; I do yoga but don't run or lift; and I normally wear a size 7 or 7.5 shoe. I got a size 8 in these so that I could wear thick socks or a boot liner in them, which would probably still work, but they fit much more like a 7.5 to me (with just normal socks on). The calf fits perfectly fine however. These boots are also very heavy compared to the last pair of rain boots I had. It would probably be a good work out, but it is not comfortable to me. This is probably partly due to the fact that the material is quite a bit thicker, which would probably make them much warmer in the winter, but may make them too warm for a spring day. But mostly it feels like the soles are filled with lead.Overall, these boots did not work for me and I will be returning them. I found rain boots that appear to be exactly the same as my old ones for $14, and am getting those instead. However, if you are looking for a pair of high quality, warm rain boots; if you don't mind the heaviness; and if they actually fit you, then these are great rain boots.
