Worth the purchase, worth the read.

As a teenager in the late 70's and early 80's I remember listening to Bob Chase broadcast the Komets' games on WOWO radio. Often times I would close my eyes and picture the action unfolding in front of me from his description. Blake Sebring put together an informative and entertaining narrative from this man who is a treasure of not only the game of hockey but of radio and the art of radio play-by-play. I've really enjoyed listening to Bob Chase and his way of calling a game. This book gives you a unique insight into why he calls the game the way he does, some different stories from the road, and how he really he feels about some of the games he's seen over the past 56 years of covering sports.

Blake Sebring had done a terrific job of capturing Bob Chase's amazing story. For anyone who loves the Komets, or just hockey, you are in for a real treat!!
