The table is not well machined but it's half the price of the next company selling this product under they're name so I'll take it and machine the table my self.

I will first use this jointer to make a bandsaw mill out of wood but first have to repair my shed. I have used jointers like this since 1987. I like the double edge replacement blades I got for this jointer/planer and they could be sharpened again. The drive belt is 1/2” and ribbed but I didn’t expect it to be like a $2700 machine. The motor is light and 13A. It works.

First off lets start with the aluminum table not being level and no way to level it. Making one side thicker .2nd the blades went dull after 4 times of use on white oak and cedar.3rd the cheap fence will not square up to the table and tilts when using.4th the safety micro switch went out the 2nd use.5th the rollers slip on the wood and dont feed completely leaving gouges in your wood.

Description was misleading it said it had a helical cutter head mine had regular 3 blade cutter head in it

I bought this product abouta year ago and have had nothing but problems with it. In-feed table on jointer will not stay in place (keeps dropping as I am making cuts). Planer table keeps dropping also. The cuts are of a decent quality. But I have gotten better from separate pieces of equipment. In short DO NOT WASTE YOR MONEY.
