I use this conditioner on my two little girls' hair, which is super curly but also thin and silky. This conditioner is very thick, and leaves their hair nice and soft. Because they are young and don't have as much oil in their hair as an older child or adult would have, I only use actual shampoo on their hair once a week, and instead just wash it with this conditioner every other day. Because this conditioner is so thick and creamy, it is fantastic for detangling their hair- I rub it in, comb it through, and leave it on for about five minutes before rinsing it out. I also use a tiny amount as a leave-in conditioner- I rub it into the ends of their hair after their bath while it's still wet and work it into their roots. The Giovanni company does make a leave-in serum, but after trying it I prefer to use this conditioner as a leave-in treatment instead. Oh, and it smells great- it has a light, fruity scent.

This stuff has a nice mild sweet smell. Its good for people that can't have strong fragrances. But it didn't work well for fine, thin, color treated, damaged hair. It didn't offer enough deep conditioning, so hair was too dry and tangled after rinsing and trying to brush. It probably would work better for hair with no damage.

Smells good, plus makes your hair so soft..

I purchased this product because of the reviews. I was excited to try this conditioner. When I was applying the product to my hair after shampooing, it did not feel smooth like conditioner does. As I massaged it into my hair, my hair felt rough and snarly. I did not give up. I let it sit in my hair while I finished showering. When I rinsed the conditioner out of my hair, my hair was all snarly and felt like I used a hair stripper or something. I could not comb through my hair, it was a mess. I ended up using some Pantene that I had in the cupboard so I could finish my hair. I would not recommend this product and it in non-returnable. I have no idea how the reviews were so good.

This product smells great. Not too strong but also not weak. Leaves my hair soft and manageable. What I have noticed is that once its washed out and your hair is styled, there is no smell. I really wish I could walk around all day with great smelling hair but it just disappears. I purchase this brand because of it being cruelty free. I have tried many other brands and this has been the best so far.

I've tried far more expensive shampoos and conditioners in an effort to calm down my oddly textured hair. My hair is fine, meaning each strand of hair is thin and fragile, but it has varying degrees of curl/frizz throughout and some coarse areas. I color my hair and it tends to get dry unless I condition heavily, which can weigh it down because it's fine. I use the shampoo from this line with this conditioner and find that my hair is smooth and moisturized. The conditioner rinses clean and doesn't seem to leave a residue or film on my hair or build up. I can't believe it is so inexpensive. I'm hooked.
