Gives support and is comfortable

I purchased one through my hand surgeon specialist dealing with trapezium bone at the base of the thumb. I have small hands and the splint wraps around well, then flaps over the thumb. However, the edge of the material over a short time, is stiff enough it cuts into my index finger at the base of soft tissue and muscle. There is no metal to cut in so better, maybe for a larger hand.

It's pretty comfortable. My only complaint is that it fits snug up around the top of my thumb, but is too big around the base of my thumb. It seems like I need a more snug fit at the base of my thumb to get the support I need.

I love this brace unfortunately I paid attention to the other reviewers who seemed to agree across the board that they run small. NOT TRUE!If you measure your hand the way they say to the sizing is perfect. I took the reviews to heart and ordered medium+ instead of medium just to be safe and it's too big. I should have ordered the medium as per the company's sizing guideline. it's a great little brace and I am going to reorder the right size. Just take the time to measure yourself before ordering and stick to the guidelines, they are spot on

Ordered size recommended by my OT however it was too big. When I tried to return item, advised this item cannot be returned. NO return policy. Perhaps, my fault, as I did not see that item could not be returned when I ordered. Buyer beware.

Based on other reviews, I purchased this in a medium plus size, which was a mistake on my part. There is enough leeway in the way this fits that I can make it work but when I replace this in the future, I will be buying the medium. Other than that, it is a great product and it makes it possible to do my job as an industrial fabricator without being in a fair amount of pain every day. I like the ease of putting it on and the fact that is easy to wash.
