The questions might be a bit too hard...
There is a very wide array of subjects covered, but therein lies the problem. Within just 10 minutes of a Trivial Pursuit games, there were several in-depth questions asked about rummy, marbles, and early 20th century movies. Other questions featured included fairly obscure art movements, little-known classical composers and pop culture from the mid-20th century.I think the questions asked should have been slightly broader in scope. While it's no fun playing a round of Trivial Pursuit with easy questions, I feel this book generally goes the opposite direction: it took many rounds for anyone to produce a correct answer. As noted, the book excels in covering a wide range of subjects, but any future editions should attempt to be a little broader in scope, and focus less on extremely in-depth knowledge. Also note the author would seemingly be British, as the majority of the questions are either UK- or Eurocentric. As an American, many questions that I assumed would be fairly common knowledge among those living in the UK were foreign to me. This is in no way a negative, but keep that in mind if planning to purchase the book.

They almost got it right
200 new cards for playing Trivial Pursuit. 1200 new and updated questions and answers. 2 mistakes. One, the play Death of a Salesman had the character Willy Loman, not Logan (Entertainment). Secondly, the inventor of bifocals, Benjamin Franklin, wasn't president as stated in the History question. Otherwise, it makes me want to keep playing the game.

The questions are very challenging (as expected from trivial pursuit), but we are actually unable to answer many of the questions due to their difficulty. In comparison to other trivia books we have, this is our least favorite because it's not very fun to do trivia when you can't answer any of the questions. I think this is mostly due to the fact that the questions seem to focus on very minute details of history and the pop culture questions are a bit obsolete.

Not bad. Many of the Entertainment questions are just as dated as the original Trivial Pursuit. Additionally, I missed that this is from a British publisher; many of the questions are probably relevant to folks from there but are largely irrelevant (and thus not fun) for Americans. Units on questions where dimensions are used are in metric. It was ok, just not as good as I had hoped.

Tough questions... we bought it because the original Trivial Pursuit game questions are so often outdated that we struggle. We thought that the entertainment, sports, etc. in this book would be more current, but alas... no.

trivia book critique
The questions were fine , but I wish the sports and leisure questions dealt with more than card games, marbles, and liquor

No colours of categories of question given, only the categories
I got the Kindle version and use it for playing virtual trivial pursuit with friends during the Coronavirus lockdown over a video call. They have the board game but we don't, so now at least we can ask them questions when it's their turn. The answers are immediately under the question, which is very convenient. The only problem is that if, for example they ask for a 'Green' question, etc, the book only gives the letters of the categories eg 'SN' (Science & Nature') etc and not the colour that goes with each category. Otherwise, it works very well.

A real test of knowledge
As Trivial Pursuit is a great family game, I bought this book to find questions for our weekly family quiz (all grown-ups). In fact, most of the questions are more suitable for a specialist subject in Mastermind. I felt that about one in ten of the questions was at a 'Trivial Pursuit' level and, of those I thought suitable, my niece and nephew, both recent graduates, scored 3/10 in the family quiz. Nothing wrong with the book at all, but if you're looking to update your Trivial Pursuit questions, you'll probably be as baffled as I was.

Too hard, and nothing compared to the cards
The book is nowhere near as nice as having the cards, the answers are on the same page as the questions, therefore it is hard to not read them sometimes, also you cannot shuffle them as they are in order. However the most frustrating part about the product is the difficulty of the questions, it should clearly state that these questions are for people that know a LOT about each subject, as in studied it degree level. Definitely not a fun book for the family.

TP Questions
As like the Even More Questions - it turned out ( by coincidence??) that the questions we were asked during our game were mostly centred around US genre rather than UK or worldwide - would love more related to UK

Good addition to question in Trinvial Pursuit game.
Bought during Covid lockdown when we had a Trivial Pursuits night each week and needed to add to the questions provided with the game.Served the purpose but some questions were very American.
