I ordered this item basically to try it out and I tell you is one of the best solder you can buy for the money , it works better than a $90 one that i purchased about 2 years ago . I have had it for a week now and have saved my self a lot of money . Fixed a tvs power supply by touching up all the soldering points on the board , if you hace a tv thats turning off and on , take a look at the power supply . If it's your first time then this is the product for you. Heats up very fast . Don't think about it and go for it . Compre este soldador y te digo es mejor que soldadores mas caro que tengo . This kit was EXTREMELY affordable! Like really??? I thought this was something that cost 30-40 dollars! I accidentally tripped over my headphones, and they got bent really out of shape: I broke off the cable and got a replacement one on Amazon, and then I stripped each of the 3 wires and used this soldering kit to tie them together, and it works perfectly again! No fidelity issues whatsoever! I know it can seem scary using such hot tools, but it was honestly a 30-minute process, and it saved me 70+ dollars! Are you willing to spend under 20 dollars to save $70? (Although some manual labor)

I bought this months ago and never wrote a review. After a router incident I decided to. It is a good first soldering kit. It comes with the basic materials and more space to add more later. The heat is low grade wire and jewelry levels. Good for basic electronics but anything above replacing a battery in a cartridge or low level electrical wiring but nothing advanced. The safety is included so when the iron is hot you can safely place it on a plate or ceramic tile with the enclosed holder. For the price you get a good quality starter kit nothing like my old industrial one but it has done the jobs I bought it for. The value is just right you get a quality iron and extra stuff for the same price as just the iron alone at Ace hardware and other stores. If you’re looking for something that is low cost and good for older consoles modding and repair this is it.

I am a complete beginner to soldering, and needed to solder some pins on an SBC game console. This soldering iron worked well for my needs. I appreciate that a knob controls and shows the temperature rather than a digital display with buttons. I also like how it is wired, as I will seldom use it and do not see the need for a wireless soldering iron. There's quite a few tips included, and it is easy to swap tips. The iron heats up pretty quickly as well. Now, I cannot say if this soldering iron is any good for more involved projects, as I just needed it for a quick fix. But if you're needing a soldering iron for just occasional, quick usage, I think this one is pretty good. The included flux paste was completely dried out, but I'm not even taking off a star because this soldering iron is already so cheap so I consider that an extra more than anything. I was just mildly inconvenienced because I needed to order more flux and wait on it. So I would say that if you purchase this soldering iron, be sure to purchase more flux along with it.

The soldering iron worked well. The main issue i had was that the flux paste was as hard as a rock and unusable.

This is on the not a great quality soldiering tool but it did what I wanted it to do. I'm gardening and I used it to make tiny holes in plastic containers and drink bottles for seeds. I've tried drilling and it cracks sometimes? This just melts a hole. Well done.

It's a cheap Soldering Iron Kit perfect for people who want to do small jobs or just want to play around with soldering but it does feel cheap and I know it will one day just stop working but right now it works fine and does the job.

Bought this as a do it your self kit for making a wire harness. Works great heats up very fast! Would have got 5 stars but included holder is pretty flimsy and cheap. But for the money it makes sense
