The floor is dull and not porcelain. I'm not sure what the floor is made of.** A: We just recently had a 50 year old cast iron tub completely recovered with what appeared to be something like fiber-glass. It was supposed to be anti slippery, for lack of a better way to describe it, but it wasn't quite anti slippery enough. After nearly falling a couple of times we ordered this Tub Grip product and it really works. We don't slip and slide anymore. Just be sure the shower floor is clean and dry and it won't take you five minutes to apply this product. Don't hesitate to use it. After it dries you really cannot see it. By the way, We will both soon be 74 years old and can''t afford to fall at this age. **Q: Are there instructions anywhere on the Web? I can not even locate the home page for "Tub Grip". No luck searching the Web for instructions.** A: It is simple to use. First clean your tub or shower floor completely and make sure it is dry. Then just pour it on and spread with the roller provided! Allow to dry for several hours (i let mine dry over night) and you are ready to go!!! I love this product and will reorder it. It is non-slip and works great. **Q: How many square feet does a bottle cover and how long is the dry time?** A: we covered one bathtub about an inch up the sides. that was it. the key is to completely clean the tub and let it dry thoroughly before applying the no-slip. the bottle says dry time is relatively short. we let it dry overnight. while it is still in place, we have noticed that there are bald spots on the tub. do not use any abrasive cleaner on the tub once applied - you'll scrub it off. hope this helps. **Q: Can I use this on a tile shower floor?** A: It was not as good as they said? Had to re-place it after 1 year I tryed a spray on it was better.
