Works as advertised!
My immediate issue was a sport style motorcycle boots with a +60% separated sole from heel to toe. Sole is plastic; upper is leather. I tried gluing it with shoe goop. No love. This product worked, for a lot less $. Riding in very hot conditions the sole did not separate. I opine that the stresses on a boot like this quite possibly exceed many other uses. In thin applications it dries clear. In the super deep and thick areas it does keep its beige color. For my boot I touched up those areas with a permanent marker. Update: super thick visible applications after fully curing over several days do eventually become translucent.

Here's why this leather glue stands out in the realm of crafting and repairs: Quick Drying for Efficiency: One of the standout features of Fiebing's Leathercraft Cement is its rapid drying time. The quick-drying formula expedites the crafting or repair process, allowing for efficient and continuous work without the prolonged waiting periods commonly associated with other adhesives. User-Friendly Application: The ease of application is another noteworthy aspect of Fiebing's Leathercraft Cement. The precision applicator allows for controlled dispensing, reducing the likelihood of excess glue and mess. The user-friendly design caters to both seasoned leathercraft artisans and beginners, enhancing the overall crafting experience. Ideal for Leather Repairs: Fiebing's Leathercraft Cement is a reliable choice for repairing leather items. Whether fixing a torn seam, reattaching a loose strap, or patching up worn-out areas, the adhesive's strength ensures a lasting repair that restores the functionality and appearance of the leather item. Works well enough, struggled on highly mobile/pressure large area.
A local leather-worker in my area had closed down for repairs, and I needed something to help my leather shoes that had peeled at the soles. Ended up picking this up and using it to help with some repairs. And while it did well enough, I don't think it deals particularly well with the type of force created by shaped shoes and moving feet. However, it did the job well enough and didn't leave the same type of nasty residue that would be left by super glue and dissolves easier. Which should make it relatively simple for me to take it in to a professional when they reopen. For now, it will do.

Great for beginners
Picked this up while starting leather craft to make sure pieces stayed in place while stitching. WOW this stuff actually sticks! I was worried that any leather glue wouldn't last, but despite getting washed, wet, beat up, restitched, and worn for almost 2 years, my first watch strap and lanyard are STILL glued together! Even used it to re-seal a spot on the toe of my boot that got scraped pretty bad. It's held the dye and fiber together so it doesn't look like I scraped a whole dime's worth of skin off my boot. It does leave a little bit of a color change on light leather and doesn't accept dye, so be careful when adding pieces together. The nozzle also hasn't clogged, and any excess peels away when dry. I've only gone through ~1/2 the bottle, but I also tend to work on small projects and mostly used this for holding layers together while stitching.

Great product
This glue held like a boss! I use to hold leather so i can then have it sewed. Sometimes i have not needed to sew bc this held that well!!!! This stuff is easy to use not too runny and dried quick enough to not take forever for a project. It has held up so well on my fine leathers and i have used it for many things! Absolutely recommend this product!

Great consistency!
Pleased with this product. Was very easy to apply and didn’t try to quickly but also wasn’t very wet, which was nice that I didn’t have a big mess after and it prevented a lot of overrun on my fabric. I used it on bonded leather and it worked great. Over all I have gotten great use out of the product and after a few days it has help up perfectly. I am impressed with the product and the value. I will continue to use it!
