Acceptable with limitations
Apparently nothing out there currently does what I need, and that is to have 3 curved 2K monitors at 144 Hz with fewer than 3 DP source outputs from the graphics card. While I was able to get the device connected, there were random screen disruptions (screens would reboot) which prevented my desktop monitors from being useful for gaming without being plugged directly into the distinct graphics card ports. Additionally, my screen resolution was capped at 60 Hz each for the left and right monitors, and 120 Hz for the main (despite being capable of 144 Hz). This just can't handle the bandwidth of three 2K monitors at 144 Hz via one DP input. While these limitations disappoint me, I will not be returning the device because it will still be useful for my laptop when I want to connect to my triple monitor setup, which is frequently.

Did not meet my needs
I purchased (and returned) this hub because I have three DP 1.2 ports on my display adapter and one HDMI adapter. I needed four DP 1.2 ports for eyefinity, an auxiliary display, and a Vive Cosmos Elite VR headset. I don't know if there was an issue with the device or if I just tried to overload the poor thing but there was constant flickering on my eyefinity displays and the headset was inconsistent in its connection, even directly connected to the display adapter.

Worked fine until it didn't
Ordered this a bout a year ago to set up for dual monitors daisy chained for working online. Worked fine until the third semester then stopped.

All you need if you want to add monitors
I love tech and doing reviews like this so people can make a better decision before buying products. I have a YouTube and Facebook channel called "OndaWire" where I do all types of tech reviews. I buy and get products and then test them out for a couple of weeks and then give (from my experience using the product) my pros and cons on them. Let's jump right in and talk about this Kanex iAdapt 3 Port 1.4 DisplayPort MST Hub.Pros:1. MAKE SURE your computer or video card can handle 1.4 DP2. This was a simple PLUG N PLAY hub.3. The ability to use this with one monitor and have 8K @ 30Hz is so COOL! I love this hub and taking advantage of that. I have a brand new MacBook and brand new 32" monitor and the picture is amazing! When using dual-displays, you are able to take advantage of this hub and get dual-display of 4K and 5K @ 60Hz! I love it! Also, when using triple displays, this hub still gives you all 3 displays with an output of 4K at 60Hz. This is one hub that you will fall in love with if you are hooking up 1, 2, or 3 monitors!**** MAKE SURE you are using high-quality cables. If you try to skimp out and buy cheap cables, you will not achieve the best quality picture that you could. Trust me on this.4. This adapter is solid and made very well. It is also small and that is what I need. I travel a lot and to be able to easily throw this adapter in my bag or pocket is so sweet!5. This hub is simple and does exactly what it says. There are no other ports other than the three 1.4 DP ports and the Micro USB port that allows you to connect this hub to your computer. It also comes with a Micro USB to USB-A cable.6. For the video output that this adapter delivers, $85 is a great price point and you will not be disappointed.Cons:1. Not really a big con here at all, but I will say I wish the Micro USB port was USB-C. This is a preference not a con :)I give this Kanex iAdapt 3 Port 1.4 DisplayPort MST Hub an easy 5 ***** star rating and highly recommend it. This is definitely an adapter that will not disappoint.
