These eye drops are wonderful for extreme dry eyes. I use them several times a day and they keep my eyes moist and comfortable. They don't sting lke some eyedrops do when you put them in. Good to keep one in my purse for daily use, and at bedtime.

My vet recommended this gel for my senior dog who is blind and suffers from cataracts and dry eyes. The gel is very easy to apply without waste, and truly does keep her eyes moist throughout the day. Safe for her eyes, affordable, and helps minimize gooey buildup in her eyes. I apply it to the surface of her eye, and then gently lift her lower eyelid up and over the gel, she closes her eye of course, and then I very very lightly massage her eyelid to spread the gel. My little dog loves this gel and I'm so glad that it helps her eyes.

Easy to apply and long-lasting effects. A lifesaver for those of us with malfunctioning tear ducts.

Awesome product at a great price. I suffer from severe dry eye and needed more than drops at night. The "lube" is very effective. Currently, I am suffering from left facual paralysis and this protects my eye which doesn't ckise all the way and needs to be covered. I love U can order a murky pack at a savings that is better than Wal-Mart or my pharmscy. If you suffer from dry eye, try this product when you go to bed, more effective over night than drops. It helps if you have someone apply for you so there is a nice ribbon. Also it will cause a very temporary blurriness for 15 minutes or so until it's absorbs that's why it's recommended for nighttime use

I agree with another reviewer that it is deceptively described. It says 20 oz-2 so I expected a total of 40 oz of this gel. It is only - total of 20 oz. very disappointed at the misrepresentation. Very expensive at this price. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN! How much business do you get tricking people. It’s a good product. Terrible marketing and price. In addition the product expires June 2018! That’s less than 2 months to use it! Lame!

I’ve had difficulty finding this product, recent order received was ointment not gel. Plus the cost is so high. I contacted the company that makes it, Alcon, and got this reply: Thank you for contacting Alcon regarding GenTeal . This product is currently on a backorder with an anticipated release date in April/May 2025 and is not being discontinued. For replacements in the meantime, please reach out to your eye care professional for guidance.

I used to use this every night without fail. It was very soothing for an I condition I have. Shame it was pulled from the market and I can't buy it any more.

Use this continually over the years. Recently, one tube malfunctioned, and the spout broke off. Since package had two or three tubes, I just rolled with the punch!
