Fantastic keyboard and battery life but a little pricey!
I wanted to buy this keyboard for about a year but I always said "there is no way I am paying that much for a keyboard". However declining health and many many months of convincing myself to just go for it. I decided to and I wish I did it sooner. It was annoying mind you, that when I did buy it. It was on sale which is what really pushed me to. As it was a much better price then but then damn it, it dropped again in price a week after I bought it. I love the product so much though that I didn't care too much. I am typing on it right now and it's so nice. The weird thing is, I thought I would have to get used to typing on it as quite often that is the case with keyboards. With this one...nope! for some reason I can just type really well on it straight away. I did a typing test and I got close to 100wpm which I know isn't the best but it was better than I thought it would be lol especially considering I just got the keyboard. So I was happy about that too. The biggest thing about this that makes me happy though is that it's low profile, and much lower keycaps than standard keyboards. I absolutely love this. I think most keyboards make your wrists bend too much and your hands go too high. This is main reason I wanted this keyboard. I also told myself if I am going to spend this much money on a keyboard I will go wireless this time and hey it's 2022 I think wireless has caught up now and it's generally quite good but there is more with this one. It uses Logitech's Lightspeed, which is just heaps and bounds better than standard wireless devices and blue tooth. Highly recommended! Oh, did I also mentioned the volume wheel! Nope, not yet I didn't well let me tell you about that. Yeh it's something minor but wow do I love this thing. It's so convenient and easy. I can never go back to pressing buttons to increase and decrease my volume again. This thing is just much more efficient and feels nice. It's just super easy to use and just generally better. Of course you have your media keys too, which is awesome. I replaced my keyboard one time and I came from one with media keys to one without and you really do miss them so I am glad I have them again and this device has them and they are great. You can do so much more with this keyboard too via the software, macros etc but I never tend to need anything like that. What I will say though, the battery life...wow!! So I got a mouse too, also logitech and both these devices last so long it's crazy! Most the time I don't have to charge the device until a month or two later. It's honestly incredible! You can also customise all the lightning effects, you know the usual that people seem to be obsessed with but not me. I don't give a monkeys about any of that. Though it's there for those of you who do like it so have at it. Highly recommended!

Almost the perfect keyboard
After the UK went into lockdown in 2020 I wanted a single keyboard I could use with both my work laptop and my gaming PC without the need to swap a dongle/cable between the devices or without having to use Bluetooth when connected to my PC. Out of nowhere Logitech release this masterpiece. I was a little hesitant given the £200 price tag at launch but I can say with 100% certainty it was well worth the money. At the time I couldn't find another device that covered my very specific criteria set (Mechanical, TKL, multiple device support, backlit, not Bluetooth for PC). I've been battering this keyboard for at least 8 hours 5 days a week, usually longer if I can get a couple hours gaming in in the evenings or weekends and its stood up very well! The keycaps are showing some smooth spots now but I'd say my use case is probably a little more extreme than what Logitech intended. Keycap clips do seem a little flimsy so I wouldn't go removing the caps regularly and because they are low profile I'm a little concerned about how easy getting replacements would be. Connectivity wise this been great. Having the ability to quickly swap between the lightspeed wireless connection in my PC and Bluetooth for my work laptop has been great. Lightspeed is very reliable and I've not noticed any latency/drops. Bluetooth is Bluetooth. I've not had any issues with key rollover like I've had with cheaper Bluetooth keyboards in the past but occasionally I have to flick to lightspeed and back again to Bluetooth to get it to connect. I believe this is more an issue with my laptop however as it has several Bluetooth devices connected so your mileage may vary depending on how many other devices you use on the same device. Battery is also pretty solid. With the backlight set to max brightness static colour and a 50% fade followed by full backlight off after about 20 seconds I get about 3-4 days. This is with 8 hours 'office' use on BT followed by ~2 hours gaming on Lightspeed. Turning the backlight down even just one level makes a big difference. Wouldn't recommend full off however unless you are going for the stealth look. I genuinely cannot recommend this keyboard enough. For anyone who has to work in the same space they game this a no brainer. You will absolutely get value for money out of it and you can extract even more if you make use of the macro functions in G Hub. I don't use these at all for gaming but they make typing up emails or documents with standard wording a doddle.

(Mostly) Great Wireless RGB Keyboard
I've been using this keyboard for just over 6 months now and in general I've been mostly happy with it, although there are a few things to be aware of if you're a prospective buyer. Although I do use my PC to play games from time to time, I mainly use this keyboard for everyday non-gaming use. * Form Factor: It's very much personal preference, but I like the clean, subdued look of the brushed aluminium housing. It also has a decent amount of weight to it and feels solid - not much flex (although who spends time flexing their keyboard anyway!) * Keys: I purchased the keyboard with 'tactile' low-profile mechanical keys - which I'm perfectly happy with, however I'm no mechanical keyboard afficionado - I know some people are VERY particular about the feel of their keyboards, actuation points etc - so if you have a friend who has one or you know of a bricks + mortar store which has one out on display I would recommend that you get 'hands on' before you purchase. * Backlighting: The keyboard offers 4 different levels of key backlighting (as well as the ability to turn it off completely). I normally have it set at the brightest or second brightest setting as I work in a relatively bright environment. Keys are very clear when illuminated, however I (and others) have found the key lettering is quite hard to read whenever the backlighting is not enabled - even in a brightly lit environment. Most people will probably configure the backlighting to turn off after a certain period of inactivity to conserve battery power, so it's possible you might unintentionally press the wrong key as you start to type again (before the backlighting reactivates). It's also worth nothing that for those keys which have multiple characters, only the 'primary' character is illuminated - so secondary characters can be hard to see in dark environments (even when the backlighting is enabled) - so, yeah, some slightly strange design decisions on Logitech's part when it comes to backlighting - not the end of the world, but something to be aware of. * Connectivity: The keyboard can communicate with supported devices either via Bluetooth or via Logitech's own 'Lightspeed' protocol (using the supplied USB dongle). In theory, you should use the Lightspeed protocol for lowest latency (the lower the latency the quicker your keypresses are communicated to your paired device). I've used both Lightspeed and Bluetooth without issue, but gamers will probably prefer Lightspeed. Dedicated buttons on the top of the keyboard make it easy to toggle between either protocol. Note that if you use Bluetooth, you might find that (depending on your PC) you might not be able to use your keyboard until the PC is fully booted and drivers required to support Bluetooth are loaded - so if you need to enter a BIOS password or Bitlocker passphrase during bootup, you might find that your keypresses are not registered (so you'll either have to switch to Lightspeed and use the dongle, or connect the keyboard via a USB cable). If you don't need to enter any passwords during system bootup then this shouldn't be an issue for you. * Battery Life: Since this wireless keyboard offers backlighting, its battery life between charges is never going to compete with standard wireless keyboards (unless you turn the backlighting off of course) - so you need to temper your expectations accordingly - you shouldn't be expecting this keyboard to remain powered for months on end after a single charge if you enable backlighting - that said, even at the brightest setting the Logitech software estimates about 40hrs between charges - in addition, you can configure the keyboard backlighting to temporarily turn off after a configurable period of inactivity to eek out as much life as you can from a single battery charge. The lowest backlighting setting estimates approximately 149hrs between charges, and with backlighting disabled you can expect to see as much as 1124hrs of use (although you'll probably need to be a well-trained touch-typist to work in those mode since as I mentioned earlier, keys are hard to read without backlighting). * Charging: The keyboard is charged via the older and uni-directional 'micro-USB' connector, rather than the more modern and omni-directional USB-C connector. In general, it feels like 'micro-USB' connectors are less robust and easier to accidentally break than the USB-C equivalent - which might be a concern when you're going to need to re-charge the keyboard on a reasonably regular basis. One way around this is to purchase a magnetic USB charging cable with a micro-USB connector - the connector can then be inserted into the micro-USB port on the keyboard and then the rest of the USB cable only needs to be attached when charging is required - no need to repeatedly insert and remove the connector from the keyboard and since the cable and connector connect magnetically you just need to bring them close enough together for them to automatically click together in the correct aligning - really handy in a dark environment - no need to try and figure out if you have the charging cable turned the right way around. * Software: The supplied Logitech G-Hub software is okay - mostly intuitive and logical to create your own custom lighting - although I did find some specific settings hard to find. It's also possible to store custom lighting profiles directly on the keyboard so that you can use and switch between them even when G-Hub is not running or the keyboard is being used with a computer which does not support G-Hub. * Media / Miscellaneous Function keys: In addition to the standard keyboard keys, the keyboard comes with a number of additional kays such as Game Mode (which can be used to disable certain keys on the keyboard during gaming sessions, such as the Windows key, to prevent you from inadvertently pressing one of these keys during gaming and disrupting - or possibly ruining - your gaming session. There are also keys which allow you to control the backlighting level and wireless protocol used to communicate between the keyboard and your host device. Finally there are a number of media keys which allow you to start/stop/skip/mute media playback and a volume roller. These keys are made of a soft rubber unlike the standard keys (which are solid plastic) - it's unclear why these keys are different and some people have reported that they don't like the rubbery-sponginess of the keys - I have to say, this is not something I have an issue with - in my experience they are perfectly fine for their purpose - although they might be harder to clean if you accidentally spill something on them like a sugary drink or jam. * Cost: I was fortunate enough to get this keyboard on offer for less than £120 - which, considering it's usual retail price, was a very good deal and I 'm happy with my purchase - although I'm not sure I'd want to spend £200+ on a keyboard, no matter how good it is!

Solid mechanical wireless keyboard
I bought this keyboard when I changed jobs to one that would require me to bundle my laptop into a bag and take it to an office occasionally. I've found previously that my hands hate me if I type for long periods on a laptop keyboard, so I wanted a high quality keyboard. I also wanted one that would fit into my laptop bag easily - hence the TKL decision. I'm a software developer, so I'm typing fairly continuously, plus I play games over the weekends sometimes, and wanted something that'd do that, too. This does fit in my bag - though it's surprisingly heavy, it's also fairly slim. There are certainly smaller keyboards, but few with a "classic" qwerty layout and decent keys - in this case, I find the "low profile" tactile keys have sufficient travel and response for good typing. Gaming is solid too. I mostly run this keyboard on Linux for work; I use the dongle and it's all good. Media keys, etc all work well. The Linux software (Solaar) doesn't give you a useful battery readout, it only tells you the battery voltage in mV, which isn't tremendously useful. Also you can't control the lighting; I just use the onboard setting for that. On Windows, the software works fine for me for the most part, but the lighting does go weird and blinky when the keyboard is in standby (it turns off fully when it goes to sleep). That said, I really don't use the software for much at all beyond telling me the battery level. Battery life is impressive - I find it lasts me more than a week, and while it's micro USB instead of USB-C, that's not the end of the world. I've not really tried the Bluetooth on it. The main downsides to it are that it cannot share a USB dongle with the other Lightspeed products - I have a mouse, and of course the price. The price is absolutely ridiculous. But you know what? I paid it, and I'm now eyeing up the non-TKL version to live permanently at my desk. I must be mad.

A joy to use.
Ok, so it's a lot of money for a keyboard. But I use one for most of the day. For work, playing games, or email, domestic bookkeeping etc. (Or, indeed, writing Amazon reviews!) And I think it was worth the investment so far. It is definitely the best keyboard I've ever used. The build quality/styling is amazing. Such a solid feel to it. I did try the full-sized version with the numeric pad, but the extra 'function' keys on the left hand side annoyed me like crazy and made touch-typing almost impossible. Especially if you also regularly have to use a 'normal' keyboard for work. The small version is much nicer imo. It's actually handy to have something a little more compact on a crowded desktop. So far I've missed not having a numeric pad about three times. All while using spreadsheets. I suppose I could clutter my desktop up again with an external numeric pad; but I really doubt I'd use it more than a few times a year anyway. Other features are also pretty useful at times, and show some thought has actually gone into it. + The key action is really satisfying. + Switching between lightspeed and Bluetooth basically means I can use it simultaneously with computer and laptop. + The game mode button stops you irritatingly pressing stuff you don't want to (and this isn't just for games). + The media buttons are actually pretty useful. Something I've never bothered with on other keyboards. Using the volume control is just somehow really satisfying; it's a far better to use that it looks in the pictures. + Two levels of adjustable height for the back. + There's all sorts of clever stuff it can be set up to do with function keys and multiple configurations and macros and so on. I haven't even looked into all that; I just want something to type on in the normal way. But I guess to someone wanting such things they can be really handy. Is it perfect? Unfortunately not. There is still definitely room for improvement. - No doubting it; it's noisy. Look; if you've spent all that money on the thing - surely you'll want everyone else nearby to know about it, right? ;) - Only the letters / primary functions of keys are illuminated. This means in a room which isn't really well lit all the shifted characters (which are darkish grey on black) are practically invisible. Let's just hope 'tilde' is where I expect it to be... - Micro USB charge socket. Really? In 2021? - I did have some problems with the connection until I moved all my USB stuff around. Now it works flawlessly, but only after spending some money and considerable time getting the right USB devices in the right places. - I wish it had simple support for more than 1 Bluetooth connection. Yup; too many PCs and laptops in use in here. ~ They keys do actually feel rather loose if you wiggle them. This is the first mechanical keyboard I've owned, so it may be the same for all of them. For 'normal typing' this isn't a problem, though. ~ I also had a problem with the battery only charging to 80% after a few months. But on contacting support and going through the usual check list of irrelevant-sounding 'fixes' it turned out that it really WAS the source of USB power I was charging it from. An eat-humble-pie moment for me. But at least it was resolved quickly. Overall I'd definitely recommend it so someone who, like me, spends a lot of time using a computer keyboard to earn their living, for entertainment, and/or keep in touch with people.

I love this keyboard
I'm a recreational gamer so can't vouch for the suitability of the G915 for professional use, although Logitech markets it for that use case, so I'm sure it's good. But for my use, I love this keyboard. It took a while to get over the pain of spending so much on a keyboard, but I've managed to move on and now I have no regrets. I've been typing on a laptop keyboard for years, but after using the G915 I now don't enjoy using my laptop keyboard! Things I like: - Size, I have the TKL version and appreciate the extra desk space it gives me - Weight, this thing is solid. Even in wild and stressful gaming situations where I'm probably exerting far more pressure on the keyboard than I need to, it doesn't budge one millimetre - Easy Bluetooth and Wi-Fi switching, I use the Wi-Fi when connecting to my gaming PC and Bluetooth to connect to my laptop and it's as easy as pressing one button to instantly switch between the two - RGB, I've never been a big fan of RGB but on this keyboard it is actually quite useful. I've set up different profiles for when I'm on the PC vs the laptop so I can see just by looking at the keyboard which I'm currently connected to. I also have different profiles per game so I know that the correct profile is being used. Also, I love how games can control the keyboard RGB and highlight certain keys, that is very impressive. - Battery life, it lasts a long time What I don't like: - You can't actually get away with not using any RGB at all, which would give you the longest battery life. The reason is the writing on the keys is transparent to let through the RGB light so when there is no light, you can't see what characters are written on the keys. - You can't use one USB dongle to connect all your Logitech devices. I have a Logitech Lightspeed mouse, the gaming wireless headphones plus this keyboard but I have to have 3x USB dongles plugged into my PC and that sucks. If I'm using only Logitech, why can't I use just one dongle?

Perfect for me.
I've had the TKL variant for the last 6 months after buying when it was on a special offer and I had to leave a review on it, as it has been fantastic to use. I had previously had mechanical wired keyboards however the cable was a limiting factor. This Keyboard is very well made and easy to keep clean. I have found I charge the device once a month, I can still use it while charging. I can connect really quickly to my phone , Tv, Tablet and start typing in seconds. I also move it around regularly, sometimes on my lap, at a table and at my Driving Sim rig and I have not had any lag or connection issues. The volume wheel is in a handy place and a nice quality of life feature. The tactile key press for me is a joy, it is still precise like a mechanical, just a smaller down push and less fatiguing on my aging hands due to lower key profile. Also the keys make less noise than tradition Mechanical keyboards , which for me is great so I cause less disturbance around me. The backlit keys (every key can be a different colour via software if you want) even on the lowest brightness is more than enough to see well. I hesitated when this keyboard was at previous prices near £200 , it's hard to justify or recommend it to any one at that, but get it in a sale and I then think it is an excellent addition.

The worst key caps of all time
Don't buy this Logitech G915 TKL Tenkeyless, it's really bad and it's feels cheap compared to the other keyboards who worth 60$ the keycaps are really poor quality and it's move around like a cheap keyboard! keycaps hard to pull it off and you might break the key spot!! it's have poor sound quality when you click it also you won't be able to return the product because they won't let you do that they will force you to do self shipped on this product once It didn't meet your expectation and this happened to me and they didn't solve the problem after I found out the keyboard it's seems cool in the reviews but in reality the keycaps hard to pull it off and you might break the key spot!! it's really bad amazon do this to there customers even THE SELLERS are awful!!!

Read before buying!!
The keyboard glitched with auto typing on some buttons after 2 months of purchase. Later on, keys started breaking one by one. After nearly 9 months of use, 3 keys broke. Really shocked of a performance of such expensive German brand!! Highly not recommended!!!
