Stihl F56 - good as new.
Trimmer head was a good price. 10yo stihl F56 head flew apart and I couldn't find the one piece. This fit right in and works as good as the factory one. Very happy with it.

It looks and feels like a quality replacement, and works like the OEM at a significantly lower price'

A good replacement
Direct replacement for my Stihl trimmer. So far it works great. The string that comes with it isn't the strongest and gets burned through fairly fast, but it works. I reloaded with my usual string and works great. Seems pretty sturdy

Cheaply Made.
Cheaply Made. Don't buy. Difficult to put on because of the incorrect indentations inside. Goes on one way, period. Weak spring. Doesn't feed properly. Worst trimmer head I've ever used. Not for heavy duty use. I finally threw it away. Bought a real US made Stihl trimmer head for my Stihl brush cutter. Don't go cheap. You will regret it.

Stihl FS131
Works just as good as the OEM at a fraction of the cost. The only slight difference, which doesn’t affect fit, is the bump part sticks out a little further than the OEM, or my OEM original was just that far worn down. Installation is easy, there’s a small hole in the trimmers head (may be hidden and plugged with dirt and grass as in my picture), stick a small screwdriver in that hole, rotate the head by hand until you feel your screw driver catch. Unscrew the plastic head by hand, NOTE: It’s a “reverse thread”, meaning you turn it counter clockwise to loosen, clockwise to tighten. Hand tight is all you need, it tightens itself from the direction of its rotation. There’s a bolt head on the opposite side of the hole, its there so you can shoot some grease into the head. If you’re having to replace the part being reviewed its probably already past time to put some trimmer head grease in there. The couple reviews I read of people complaining this replacement “sticks” need to use a little common sense. The OEM ones could stick sometimes as well, the solution is simple. When you take it apart to wrap more string clean the dirt out of it for one thing. You can also take sand paper and smooth out around the bump mechanism and the inside of the hole on the outer cover, common sense, until it works smooth and freely.

Not worth the trouble
This was a waste of money. It for fine and worked as it should but, the line broke often and went through it pretty quick.i was better off just buying good line and spoiling it myself. Which is what I'll do from here on out.

Do not buy!! Cheaply made. Eyelet sleeves do not fit snugly and can easily be lost and I only received one sleeve. Must contact Amazon to return and I've been in the phone queue for 90 minutes and counting.
