Stamina Hydraulic Rower Machine with Smart Workout App - Rowing Machine with Adjustable Resistance for Home Gym Fitness

I've waited a good long time to write this review, but here goes. I really like this machine. It's quiet, stores easily, and is sturdy. The chair slides smoothly, though I do occasionally feel like I might wobble off of it--a repositioning usually fixes this problem. The cushion itself is a non-issue, which is to say that I've never thought about the cushion once while using it. It is a comfortable middle ground between sturdy and soft and doesn't provide any discomfort during the workout itself. The operation of the seat and the pull bar is smooth. Like others have said, as the hydraulic pump warms up it can get a bit too easy to operate unless you stop and shift the resistance up. The resistance is the thing I have the most trouble with. The little knob takes a lot more fussing than I like mid-workout to move up in resistance levels. It's a present-enough problem that I will likely take the advice of another reviewer and loop resistance bars around the front feet and hand-holds of the rower to provide more resistance without messing with the knob. The footprint of the rower is appealingly small and it stores easily upright if you have it on a carpeted surface. On tile (or, I assume, wood), the upright storage doesn't work as well. I just keep it at least partially on an area rug in the guest room and it works fine. Operation is quiet and consistent. I have used it both barefoot and in shoes and either way is fine. My feet--large for a woman's (size 10-11)--don't have a problem staying in plates. Assembly was simple. I put it together alone in about 15 minutes. Long story short: love the convenience and reliable operation of this thing. It was a very good price for the value. I like that it's a whole-body workout that engages me more than my previous in-house recumbent bike. I like that it's quiet enough to allow me to plug away at it while watching TV. The one thing I wish was improved or different would be the resistance system. I'd like more variety and an easier process in changing it up--as it stands, the settings leave a bit to be desired. That said, previous reviewers have provided an excellent, customizable solution. For the price and otherwise convenient aspects of this machine, I have no problem adding some personal modification so that it better serves my needs.

The Stamina InMotion Rower was a good purchase. The rower is well constructed, and it is very solid. It works very well. You need to put it together. It does not take long to install everything together. You can put it together in 30 to 45 minutes or so. This is not a high-end rower, but it does it's job. You get a very good workout on this machine. There is very good resistance when you row. It takes some time to build up yourself to be able to handle the higher resistance with multiple reps. The more you use it, the easier it will be for you to pull as you build your strength. If it were easy to pull, then the machine is useless as an exercise equipment to build any strength. The machine is fairly quiet, and it is fairly smooth when you use it. The handlebar and the foot pedals are good. The rower is fairly compact, and you can stand it up to store to conserve space. The footprint of the machine is small as well. This is not a professional rower, but it gives you a satisfactory workout at an inexpensive price. You can buy a higher-end rower, but the workout may not be any more than from this machine. I recommend the Stamina InMotion Rower because the rower is durable and solid. It is a very good exercise machine. It gives an excellent workout. And, it is at a very good price on Amazon. If you have Amazon Prime, the 2-day Free shipping is very nice.

This is not a high end rowing machine by any means, but I am a small person (5'3" tall and 112 lbs.), a senior, and this level of machine is fine for what I needed. I doubt this machine would work for a tall or heavy person but for me it is fine. I also have a recumbent stationery bike and do a lot of doggy walking. So I was looking for an aerobic exercise machine that tone my lower back, hip area, core, shoulders. The machine was easy to put together by myself and lightweight enough to move around. I was specifically looking for a machine I could easily store in a folded or upright position. I love that it stands on end for storage. Fits perfectly in a corner of my sun porch and takes up only 24" x 24". Standing on end its about 53" tall. I doubt I will use the fitness meter but am glad it comes with one. I will update this review after using the machine awhile. My only concern is that I have read some people claiming that the tension becomes too light when the mechanism warms up. For my needs, that probably won't be a problem but we'll see. I tend to hop on the machine for short spurts during the day instead of an extended of an extended time. So in spite of those reviews, this machine at this price point, sounded perfect for me.

Arrived with box bashed in on side and oil leaked on box. Once open nothing was damaged. Easy to put together. Once testing it, it was clear the hydraulic cylinder leaked when using. It's a nice rower and works well and comfortable. The foot straps are on cheap end. I emailed Stamina and gave order number and proof of purchase and they answered email within hrs and sent out a new cylinder. Great C.S. It's nice if your older because it doesn't sit on floor and its raised which makes it easier for my wife who has leg feet neuropathy to get on and off thus enabling her to be able to exercise. It's not just for older individuals, anyone can use. I use it too. So far new cylinder hasn't leaked but haven't used enough to tell if it will last. Not sure why amazon rejected my first review, I guess they don't want honesty?

This is a very sturdy and can easily be assembled by one person. It easily holds up to a 300-pound individual, however the main downside to this rowing machine is the adjustable tension. I had to start off at level 10 just to get some resistance with the rowing machine. There are only 12 levels (max is not much more difficult than 10), so I'm afraid this is not going to suit me long term, as the goal is to increase tension as you gain strength. Ideally, I believe this unit would be well suited for someone who needs physical rehab or the elderly.

I bought this from Amazon, please have someone help you put it together, Does not be a professional by someone with some mechanaical experience like a frien or a plumber or mechanic. I assemble the machine myself it took me about 5 hours and I am no mechanic, Read instructions clearly spread all the tools and parts on a big white sheet , Dont throw away anything if you dont know what the part is or where it belongs , The answer will come to you when you put the machine together, I love the machine and it is worth the price , I weigh 240 and 6 foot 2 and the machine workjs great , I give it 5 stars and highly reccomend it to anyone,

This is an exceptionally good rowing machine for seniors. It was easy to put together and is very well constructed. The seat glides smoothly and the machine is quiet overall. I especially like this rower because the seat sits higher off the ground than other rowers. I have had five knee surgeries and have no difficulty getting on and off of it. The machine gives me a good workout overall--back, shoulders, arms, abdomen, and legs. I was initially frustrated with the rower because the "digital computer" kept resetting in the middle of my workout. Connie (a Stamina Customer Service rep) worked diligently with me until I finally received one that worked. Thank you, Connie!

It is not too difficult to assemble. There are videos on you tube for assembly and proper rowing technique.Go ahead and start to assemble the rower even if it looks like you don't have all the bolts, nuts, and washers. I thought I was short 2 bolts and washers but they had been installed at the factory on the rod that holds the foot pedals. CONS: Eventually the hydraulic cylinder will fail, leak and have to be replaced. Will keep floor protected underneath cylinder before that happens. Cylinder will temporarily lose resistance when internal fluid gets hot. Resistance returns after fluid cools. These are symptoms of all hydraulic cylinders. PROS: Lightweight, Fairly easy to move and store. Low cost. And the biggie for me: QUIET. I wanted to try something less expensive to see if I would like rowing as an exercise. If I do, I will purchase one of the Stamina air resistance rowers. These don't have the downsides of hydraulic cylinders but they are LOUD. I am considering the 1399. but there are so many available models that even after looking at the Stamina website it is hard to determine clear distinctions between the different models.

Super easy to put together, comes with the tools you need to do so; I assembled my rower in less than 10 minutes. I was looking for a basic rowing machine, no bells or whistles, exactly what I wanted to get myself back into shape. Nothing fancy here unless you count a padded seat and counter/timer, lol. Light enough I can pick it up myself to move around and small enough that it lives in my bedroom, but still very sturdy. This machine is pretty straight forward, basic but for the price a great little rower.

Si tienes un Polar Loop Monitor de Actividad, negro una aplicación tipo Fitness pal pues invierte en el dispositivo móvil o la aplicación y sin problema. Se puede levantar para que no estorbe. Con 15 minutos diarios sientes el efecto en espalda, brazos y abdomen. Ponte atento y lo llegan a poner de oferta relámpago.

Calidad de acuerdo al precio. Una buena compra tomando en cuenta que solo se usa un poco. Talvez una persona alta no se sienta muy cómoda pero está muy bien
