Amazing detailed letters of the alphabet - therapeutic colouring at its best
• Note: The supplier kindly sent me a review sample for evaluation, the opinions expressed here are entirely my own •I love adult colouring books is perfect if you enjoy colouring in detailed and small spaces. I prefer colouring in complicated pictures that take ages to complete. This is nice because you can start and leave it or in most cases I get glued to it and don't want to stop until I have finished. It allows you to be creative even if you are not naturally artistic, it will bring out your creative side. I like matching the colours to use in these alphabet shapes. The fun thing is you can use loads of different colours and it just keeps looking better and better. With some colouring images you need to stick to 3 or 4 colours or it starts looking messy and complicated whereas with the alphabet drawings you can start by colouring in the leaves or a particular item that is repeated on the letter and then go from there. There are many different techniques and ideas for how to colour in but in my opinion you should just go with the flow and see where you land up. You can never make a mistake.I prefer using copic markers because the results are very bright intense shades but then there are many different ways to colour in and so much choice, coloured pencils are always great too. A word of caution if you are thinking of using alcohol markers, they will bleed through to the other side of the page so you would need to put a piece of cardboard there to stop it leaking on to the next page. The pages are not perforated so you would need to carefully tear the page out. In total there are 2 x 26 alphabet letters from A - Z and at the back of the book there are a 4 small symbols that are added to the book. In the middle of the book there are more free pages with exciting symbols. Another bonus to this book is a special code for a free pdf doodle name of your choice.26 of the pages have a single letter on and 13 of the pages have 2 letters along side one another so you receive a large letter and then a small one of the same letter in the same design. It is a wonderful therapeutic book and it is suitable for all skill levels and children could enjoy this too. For me the big plus is the amount of detail in each one.I have added photographs for your convenience.

Unusual Coloring Book With Shading and Crosshatching
The media could not be loaded.  This is an unusual coloring book. I say that as someone who has worked my way through dozens of coloring books at this point, and as someone who routinely has friends over to the house to do some coloring book. Here's what's unusual about it: Most coloring books consist of images that are made up of many bounded areas. The artist has made room for the colorer, in a sense, to fill those bounded areas in. This coloring book, however, has lots and lots of bounded areas -- but most of them have some degree of shading and crosshatching in the areas already. So the artist has already initiated the filling-in process in this coloring book, which makes it distinct. Now, I'm not critiquing this style -- in fact, I think it's refreshing to have found a slightly different coloring book like this one. It's also a coloring book based on a fun play with the whole "ABSs" idea. When I think of the ABCs, I think of very young children who are just learning how to read. But this book takes that alphabet idea and infuses it with all kinds of crazy designs and doodles. As you can see in my video, each letter is comprised of a cacophony of other images and objects. The designs are reminiscent of Crumb's comics a little bit, and also of tattoo art.So it's a fun coloring book. It's definitely different, but we've been enjoying making our way through the alphabet of imaginative combinations.ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ  Spencer in Seattle original reviewI was provided a free sample in exchange for my honest review.

I bought this because I love Steve's work
Review is copied from my other review regarding his artwork!I bought this because I love Steve's work. He's very artistic, and I couldn't wait to color these images. This is still true, even after coloring a few already. I read the reviews about the paper, and the paper is a bit.. odd, thin but.. rough too. I have tried both pens and pencils with this book, and have decided that it works better with pencils, but the image still looks grainy, which isn't horrible. I use a blender pencil, and the black from his images do tend to rub into the color. A little annoying, but sometimes it adds to the image, so I won't complain much. :)I still give this 5 stars, because it's only his 1st book, and he's a nice guy, I've talked with him on his Facebook page. I would recommend anyone getting this book.

Lots of fun, relaxing coloring!!!
This book is a blast to color! Because the art consists of fun, cartoon-style doodles, I really felt I could go all out with my color choices, not at all hindered by trying to be coordinated with hues or matching tones. Coloring doodles makes you feel free to go all over the spectrum! There is a "hidden item" element as well as you try to find the objects related to the letter. The paper quality is smooth, if a bit on the thin side, but since the designs are one-sided, that doesn't present a problem for markers as long as you use a piece of paper to prevent bleed-thru. The art is crisply hand drawn as well and objects are a comfortable size, not too tiny. Highly recommended as it made for a very relaxing, meditative coloring experience.

Best ABC (Alphabet Coloring Book) For Boys & Girls
Love Steve's Alphabet Coloring Book. All the other books were flowers and I needed a boys room alphabet. Steve's book exceeded my expectations. There were robots, airplanes, astronauts, dinosaurs and even pineapples, flowers, hearts, baby sheep and owls. This alphabet is for both boys and girls. And the Alphabet comes in two sizes (large and small), it has symbols too and the pages are one sided and the paper quality is excellent. Love his work. I also bought "A Day at the Beach". Please see my review of that book on that Coloring Book page.

Disappointing
Despite reading some excellent reviews, I was not impressed with this one when it arrived. The paper is poor quality and the images are reproduced with blurry edges. Blacks are grey and nothing looks crisp or sharp. I may try colouring one or two of them but it is not inviting. Shame.

quite unusual
This was a gift for a friend and they love itPaper quality and images are very high quality and it's kept them out of mischief in the eveningsThe finished effect is very nice and my friend is very cutely and artistically making me up a name plaque in a frame from images in this book - which is a super cute and quirky idea that I loveI will look at buying a copy for myself once I actually finish some of these books I already have

Quirky doodles
I love this book, Steve has a unique way of doodling and all the letters contain doodles of items beginning with the letter. The paper quality is excellent, quite thick plain white and as all the pages are one-sided any bleed through should not be a problem providing you put a sheet underneath the page you are working on. An added bonus is you can email Steve for a pdf of any name to enable you to print them off yourself.

A, B, C's for adult and child alike =)
As a huge fan of Squidoodle's designs, I had to add this book to my collection. Alphabetical designs that are suitable for adult and child alike =) Such clever designs that really get you thinking whilst you are adding colour to each design.
