... Timberland Pro Boondock 6" works boots based on the excellent reviews, and I'm glad that I did
I ordered these Timberland Pro Boondock 6" works boots based on the excellent reviews, and I'm glad that I did! This is my first pair of Timberland Pro, and I will be putting them to the test here in a couple weeks. I am a weedeater for our Lawn Care business, and I weedeat 15-18 yards a day, Monday-Friday, from March until October usually, so I walk alot each day. Can't wait to see how these hold up.... they sure are the most comfortable work boot I've owned so far, for being new, no break in required, and I've used many, many work boots and shoes throught the 10 years I've been doing this. It's hard to find a pair that will last over 3 months, my line of work is hard on footwear. The best pair I've had up to this point have been a pair of Double H waterproof work boots, from last year. I bought them at the beginning of the season last year, and they lasted me the whole season, but the soles are worn completely smooth and thin under were the pads of my feet set. I can say though, this Timberland Pro Boondock, is by far, way more comfortable already, I just hope that they stay that way! They truly are like walking on clouds as others have said. The size accuracy feels perfectly on with what I wear in other brands, with plenty of room in the Toe Box area, I wear a 13D. They do look a little bit big to the eye, but they are composite toe, so they will look a bit big, not a big deal to me. Also they are surprisingly lighter weight than I was expecting them to be. I had read other reviews that said they were on the heavy side, so I was a bit worried, because you want as light as possible when you weedeating and walking all day, but too my suprise, they are not nearly as heavy as I was expecting, which is great! Now, don't get me wrong, they are not featherweight by no means, but not what I would consider heavy. So far, I give these boots a 5 star, simply because they are so comfortable already, and they are an outstanding looking work boot! **I will update this at the end of the season this year, around the end of October, to keep everyone updated on how they have held up**

great work boots for those that actually work.
i bought a pair of these in the insulated version last winter 2014 and decided that I would try the summer version. they work great. NO breaking them in, they were comfortable out of the box. I am 6'5" tall and 340pounds and I wear these all day long in a steel fabrication facility. they are perfect. oh, and the composite toe doesn't smash my toes together like redwings do. (I HATE THAT!) my insulated version of these have lasted me all winter with plenty of life left in them. It is necessary to replace the insoles everyt 6-8 months to keep them comfortable if you are wearing them 10-12 hours a day and on your feet. but who cares? less than $30 bucks once or twice a year or replacing a different brand every year at the tune of $150-$200. A little pricier up front but less expensive in the long run. I will be buying them again once the time comes that I split the leather out on them or they die altogether.Update- three years later they are ready to be replaced. Will be buying another pair. Best boots I’ve ever owned

Extremely durable and comfortable enough for 12+ hr work days
This is my second pair for these first pair used a little over a year but they were abused in the oilfield. Subjected to extreme cold and almost always submerged in mud/water or some of the most damaging chemicals you can imagine. They worked flawlessly are comfortable enough for 12+ hr work days and the composite toe is very strong. My first pair are still perfectly usable and still have the same set of laces. I only bought a second pair because I went with the Wide size originally and they have always been a tad to big. Highly recommend if you are always on your feet and need your boots for the most demanding of conditions.

Great boots. Comfortable despite being slightly roomy.
This is my 4th pair of Timberland Pro's in the last 6 years. I have tried a few other brands in that time and always come back to the Timberland Pro. I am a railroader and the ballast is particularly hard on soles. These hold up well for a good year, even switching heavily on the ground and that's saying something. A typical shift is about 5-6 miles of walking on ballast and climbing rail cars. These hold up fantastically. this pair does seem to have a bit more width than I am used to, but not so much that I am sliding in my boots. The toe box seems a bit roomier than I am used to, but it's not so bad that it's a problem. They have pretty good waterproofing and even stepping in puddles doesn't result in wet socks.Tl;dr - Great boots. Comfortable despite being slightly roomy.

Best work boots
I work driving an 18 wheeler hauling powdered cement. I am in the ran, cement dust, heat, snow, mud, water just about everything. These boots are AMAZING!! My feet don’t hurt, they don’t get wet when standing in water or walking through snow. I have been with my employer for almost 3 years and I get a pair of these every year. I walk funny so the boots stretch out a little more where I need support and it hurts my feet. This pair I just got makes the 3rd pair I’ve owned. As long as these are available to buy, I will continue.

comfortable!
I work construction and this is my 2nd pair. I wear size 13's and it's hard to find a boot that size. Very comfortable, keeps my feet dry and warm. For really wet, mud, snow conditions I wear Mucks, but except for cold winter conditions these fit the need. Would highly recommend!
