The replacement cord was a much better deal than buying a new headset. The controls were slightly different on the cord compared to the original, but everything works as expected. Every set of headphones should have a replaceable cord at this point.

It's pretty neat and useful so far we will see how it lasts in the Long run

No volume control on the cord but still works perfectly

This product is not the same as the original. It has no volume control and the mute button (in place of the volume control wheel) does not function at all. The wire shorted out and now only my right ear has sound. I am using these with Astro A10 gaming headset. I would not recommend this product.

I bought this hoping to replace my aging Astro A10 cord that had a volume control wheel on it. I figured that I could upgrade to a button volume control so it won't get snagged on my clothes. Unfortunately it's a mute button instead that you have to hold down to effectively mute. Otherwise it's a good replacement cord for the price. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a mute button instead of a volume control button.

Bought these as a replacement for my son's cable for his headset. No issue, no cutting out audio.

Bought 2 sets for our Grandson. Apparently cats like eating these. They work great per the Grandson for his A40 headset.
