Sturdy, installs easily, with nice fit and finish.
As noted by others, the hook is cast. That might be dicey for some applications. Otherwise everything else is sturdy and interchangeable. Fit and finish good. The unpainted round mounting bracket nested perfectly inside the hold of an Allen and Roth medallion. Good purchase.

Strong, durable
You wouldn't know it from the size but this chandelier holder is very strong. It is super easy to install although the instructions are not particularly clear on what exactly to do. Looks lovely and functions great. I have a vintage chandelier I didn't think this would hold, but its been great.

It worked for what I needed it for. It was quite a bit on the cheap side but no one can tell from the floor. We are happy with it.

Was easy to install
I needed a light to hang over my kitchen sink, but the electrician’s quote was way too high. So, I did some research and found this awesome hook placement and remote-controlled light that was just what I needed. and it’s been a great addition to my kitchen!

metal fatigue in 2 weeks
We wanted to reposition a hanging light, about 1 foot, the ceiling joist was about 2 feet from the original light position. Stringing the light chain to the 2 foot position (where this kit was anchored) then back 1 foot. After 2 weeks the metal hook fractured and the hanging light dropped back to its original position, shattering the glass housing around the light. The hook could not hold 10 lbs. buy at your own risk.

The price felt a bit high for its minimalist quality and plain appearance. Nonetheless, it did the trick to hang small lightweight artificial plants from the ceiling in leu of old ugly pendant lights.
