ATF Dexron III/Mercon Automatic Transmission Fluid - ATF Dexron 3 (1 Quart)

I bought 10 gallons to do a transmission service on my Allison MH4000 transmission. I couldn’t see spending the money on the Allison fully synthetic fluid to only end up mixing it with the Dexron 3 in my transmission. It’s been 5000 miles and transmission performed flawless.

Exactly what's recommended for my power steering reservoir in my 2003 Toyota Tacoma (and many other Asian vehicles, see directions online). Flushing the old fluid is recommended, not difficult if you have modest mechanical ability. Check out a few online videos if you need to.

I recently rebuilt the valve bodies and accumulator valve on my 1993 ford E250 van with a E4OD transmission. This particular year E4OD Transmission requires ATF Dexron III/Mercon Automatic Transmission Fluid. A must have for these older year transmissions. Mercon 5 and Mercon ULV can cause transmission problems.
