MX3 Air Mouse Remote with Keyboard AMGUR 2.4G Mini Wireless Keyboard Air Mouse Combos IR Learning Remote Control for Android TV Box Raspberry Pi, Mini PC, Google Smart TV Remote Mouse

I bought this item for use with my Streaming Media Box. The mouse functions fine, but there are two things which I find really bothersome. First the shift keys and alt keys are not one shot. They toggle, like a cap locks key. They are independent so you can lock the caps and be in alt character mode. No idea as why you would want that but it takes two key strokes to fix. Since I seldom type on all caps, or all alt, a one shot feature makes better sense to me. However this shortcoming is tolerable.The second issue is not tolerable and doesn't need to be this way. The alt key markings are dark blue against the black rubber key pads. They are printed smaller than the normal key markings. The size of the marking and the dark blue against the black key makes them nearly impossible to see without bringing up the room lighting to a fairly bright level. I did a bit of searching on Amazon and noticed a different manufacture's air mouse, marks their alt keys in yellow. This makes perfect sense and could be done here as well.I realize this is not the fault of the seller, but really reduces the utility and customer satisfaction.

I have a love hate relationship with this controller. I'm using it for a media center Raspberry Pi.Pros:- It looks good and has a pretty strong build quality.- There is lots of functionality on the remote.- The keyboard is great to have when you want to type something in.- For the most part all the buttons work the way you would expect them too. You don't have to install any funky software, its plug and play.Cons:The air mouse on this thing isn't that great and you cant turn it off permanently. Theres a button to turn it off, but whenever you don't use the remote for a minute or so, it will go to sleep. When it wakes up the mouse will be on again. This has the potential to be UNBELIEVABLY frustrating. Luckily in my case I was able to program my pi to ignore the mouse input. But I can imagine it being a real pain for someone less technical. So -1 star for not having a permanent switch to turn off the air mouse.

So I just got this in the mail today and set it up with an MXQ Pro android box. Has a good in hand feeling, love the way the air mouse handles, button layout is pretty good and switching between the remote and keyboard is so convenient. Would have given 5 stars but the instructions are lacking and hard to understand, u guys should proof read those and add in how to programmed the colored buttons on the bottom. My biggest problem though, is that the power button only turns my box OFF, it won't turn it ON. Any help?

This is my second one. I have toddlers so it gets thrown a lot. Works great. Easy to use, can teach most people how to. Using it on a computer connected to a TV so it's better than having a regular keyboard. Being able to teach it IR codes is a huge bonus. Wish there were a few more configurable buttons but for the price can't complain.

Can't complain much for the price, but I was disappointed in this remote. I should've looked closer, it doesn't have a channel up or down button. I can't change the channel on my TV. I have an LG 55G2 (it's a Google TV) and half the buttons don't work with the TV. The power button doesn't work and the OK button works intermittently. The mouse worked good. For the cost of this item, figured I'd give it a try.

This is great if you plan on using it with kodi. And I have purchased three of these devices in the past and had no trouble. The product arrived in short order and was packaged very well.

I like this remote for use with the cheaper android boxes that come with a junk remote or one that does not have a keyboard. They work good. Good price too.

I ordered this to replace a broken controller as we only use the PS4 for video, not games. The controller is still needed to get past initial screen so this was a useless purchase that did not specify it could not be used alone.
