I'm a forever pedestrian and it is essential to be outfitted for travel on foot and via transit. This stylish bag holds everything I need to climb onto transit every day - it keeps my purse, lunch bag, and Kindle or tablet safe from the weather and still has room for my umbrella, notebook, and rain poncho. Here is a photo of the bag fully loaded and zipped shut. It's tight but everything I described fits. It is true that if I liked larger handbags and added a larger lunch, I might have to leave the rain poncho at home or be unable to zip it shut. I've placed some common items near it so you can gauge the size. The straps are just long enough to slip over my shoulder so that the bag tucks under my arm which means its size will fit under my rain poncho if I'm wearing that instead of a coat. Made of hard vinyl, the bag can be wiped clean if it comes in contact with something objectionable. I thought the price was right for what I got.

This bag is a generous size, and yet doesnt look overbearing on a petite woman at all!Content wise, it is perfect for an adult, or a small family to take to the beach.It fits 3 full size beach towels, 3 pairs of clothes, sunscreen, flip flops, toddler shoes, bug spray, wet clothes bag and snacks!It also has a separate compartment on the front that you can slip in some lip gloss, a kindle paperwhite and hang your sunglasses.The best part is that it is see-through. Because of that, if you have packed everything smartly (depthwise) you can actually locate and grab just the right thing easily without disturbing the rest of the contents.Voila, the compliments! Several people commented on how neat the bag looked. I've never had so many people comment about mundane beach necessities.I can totally see how this could become TSA's favorite bag were we to travel with it through an airport. No need for X-rays :)Finally, the material is strong and thick, both the plastic as well the straps. The straps are the perfect width, they do not cut into your shoulder as you carry it around, and do not wrinkle up into a cord (which I absolutely hate).

Bought this gem of a tote over a year ago and have used it at least 4 times a week. I put my grocery list in the clear pocket (with a pencil for crossing out items as I pick them up) and put it in the kid seat of the grocery basket covering my purse. It holds a LOT of stuff (yesterday, two bottles of wine lying on their sides at bottom, vegetables, frozen foods, meats, cheese, pasta and a bunch of gladiolas poking out the top). It's great because it can be zipped closed to keep chilled things chill. The straps are long enough to wear on the shoulder when walking to & from the store. It's also great for beach & picnic outings, whether for food or towels, flipflops, etc. Good for lugging books to and from the library too. With all this use, it remains sturdy and receives many compliments and inquiries. I'm ordering more now, to give as hostess gifts and to use as "gift bags" for things I give my family & friends. Just throw some pretty tissue paper in, tuck the gift in there, and it's two gifts in one. It's a GOOD DEAL.

This bag is perfect for work. I work at Amazon & we're supposed to have clear bags to carry our stuff and they would provide us them but they didn't zippers or a pocket like this one and they would tear after a while especially because the straps were connected to the opening but on this they are on the sides. I like to use the pocket for my car keys so I don't have to dig around for them. It carries so much and super sturdy. I can tell its gonna last a long time and the black on the bottem and the sides make it a little cuter than everyone elses clear bags at work haha.

I used this bag every day during student teaching. It could hold an 11.6 in laptop, planner, coffee thermos, pencil case, glasses case, makeup, wallet, sunglasses, teacher's edition book, papers, my keys, and a couple other miscellaneous things. I loved this as a daily bag because I could see if I was forgetting something or not by just looking in. After a little over a month of this daily abuse stuffing the bag to its limit, a small tear appeared near where the strap attaches to the rest of the bag. I was still able to use it for a while. I recently took it to the beach and sand got in through the rip. I will be ordering a new one for this year.

This is a very convenient bag, because of its see-through nature. I bought it because I THOUGHT it was "waterproof". I didn't necessarily think it would float, or anything, but I was hoping that if it was set on a wet patch of driveway, for example, the contents would stay dry. Unfortunately, the base is made of a porous material, and can easily become saturated. Nevertheless, it IS convenient to be able to look through the sides to discern the contents without having to dig through them.
