256 sheets of colorful origami paper in a convenient tear-out pad! This origami paper pack from Tuttle Publishing includes 256 sheets of richly saturated, double-sided paper. Each sheet stays secure in the book until you're ready to use it, thanks to the easy tear-out design—no loose or crumpled papers to worry about. Origami Rainbow Paper Pack includes: 256 double-sided 6 inch folding papers 16 unique color combinations 13 pages of full-color instructions with origami tips and tricks Step-by-step directions for folding 8 origami models Review: Great quality - My grandsons loved their books Review: Papers NOT Glossy but flat - 256 Origami Rainbow Paper Pack Book, comes with 7 pages of folding instructions for 8 models: (This book is of SOLID COLORS ONLY) The cover is bright and glossy but the papers are dull, with no sheen whatsoever. Side A of the paper is a different color on the flip side B, (not the same color on both sides.) (For example, blue /green, or red/purple, etc..) The solid color printing of each paper reminds me of inexpensive construction paper pads you buy for kids from a dollar store but in a mini size. I like the sharp, bright, glossy origami paper you buy in plastic packaging. It's good practice paper and can be used to enhance printed origami paper, like if you were making a kimono.. but not for a gift or final product.

An OCD nightmare
Paper is fine. Some risk of tearing the edges when pulling the paper out, but for me the real issue is that the colors are arranged with no regard to human decency. Just be aware if you want the colors organized properly, this pack is a total headache.

Thicker than most Origami paper.
Pros: Thicker and stronger, less prone to tearing than most Origami paper. Very attractive, especially in models that show both sides of the paper. Cons: A little stiffer, and less flexible, so slightly harder to fold in some cases. Tearing it out of the book occasionally leaves a rough edge or corner.
