The 42" Revolution blade is designed so that when it is worn down, the blade can be rotated, top to bottom, giving you twice the useful life out of your man Plow. Manplow's have the reputation for being extremely long Lasting & durable & now they will last twice as long! the revolution line features a U-shaped handle for strength, durability, & ease of use. The revolution blade is designed to slice cleanly into deep snow. Its tall blade allows you to redistribute more snow & get the job done faster. The ballistic rated polyethylene blade is excellent for scraping to give the job a clean finish.

works great, just did my driveway
works great, just did my driveway. We got 4" of snow over night, and sometime early AM it turned to freezing rain than light rain.So had about 1-2" of icey slushy snow crap. The lowest layer was compacted ice that was just on the verg of wanting to melt, but was sticking to the black top in many places.I used the 44in Revolution to plow the slush into piles to a section of the driveway. It worked better than anything else I used to scrap most of the lower layer off, and if not on the first pass, during a clean up pass we got the rest of it. But for a few areas that I had to really chop/scrap up with a true ice chopper tool, heavy metal blade.I did not try and use the manplow to chop the ice, nor did I beat the edge of an ice layer like I would with a metal scrapper blade I have, but I was pushing and scraping what would move and come up. I'd hit edges that would not come up, and went over it and kept going.Later they came up since it was getting nice and warm out, little sun poking out... balmy 34degsF.The plastic hard edge is a great scrapper.I was pushing full blade widths of heavy icey slush, and it just kept on going, very strong. If I hit a hard ice pile with the end of a blade, the blade may have bowed a little.I'm very hard on shovels, break handles often, same with brooms.I was putting all of my 260lbs behind pushing the large piles of slush. So with the ice blocks I hit while plowing mounds of slush , and I didn't break it during those 2 hrs of clean up, it's strong.Didn't take any chunks out of the blade, just wore a minor chamfer on the bottom edge, based on the angle I was man plowing at.Once the piles were made, I could let my snow blower feed on the pile of slushy ice, which if I take my time and not jam the blower into it, it'll throw it about 15ft. I have an 11hp Toro.Man Plowing the slush and man plowing 1-2 inches of snow into piles I can use the snowblower on and "blow" 50ft into my yard is a lot easier than using the snowblower on all of my 125ft of driveway.I only have two small areas I can blow the snow into, and for 3/4 of the driveway I can't blow into those areas from the driveway. With 4" or or more, yea, it's all snow blower, wont try and man plow.A foot of snow can take me 4hrs to clean up my driveway and walk ways.I'll probably get a narrower one for next year for my wife. She's great and pitches in when she can.

Lightweight, clears right to the ground and will move 2-3 inches of powdery snow with ease.
2/28/16 update - This is currently my favorite shovel for <3" of light, fluffy snow. I relegated the 36" aluminum Manplow model with the plastic edge to my back patio because it simply won't clean close enough to the cement for my liking. This all plastic shove also removes tire backed snow down to the cement and will clear thin ice under the right conditions. I would not waste my money on another aluminum Manplow.Original review from 2015 - I live north of Buffalo, NY and like most of the northeast, we are having a rough winter. It's the coldest I can recall with a lot of snow. I have experience with all varieties of snow shovels. I bought the 44" Revolution model for my concrete driveway that has saw cut relief joints, not troweled joints so it would be easier to shovel. The reason I mention that is because hand troweled relieve joints are wide compared to saw cut joints and they might catch any shovel blade and jam the handle into your unit if you're not careful so be careful.I already have the 36" aluminum ManPlow ProlIne shovel with the replaceable plastic bottom edge. The aluminum ManPlow ProLine simply will not clear to bare concrete if there is any packed down snow because the angle of the edge to the shovel handle is too steep. The 44" Revolution digs right down to bare concrete. It took a few small snow falls to "set" the edge on the Revolution but once I got it dialed in, the results were excellent. It works best in 2-3 inches of fluffy snow so don't buy it and expect it to work with 3-4 inches of heavy wet snow - it won't work for that sort of snowfall unless you're built like Dwayne"The Rock" Johnson. My 130 pound wife has no trouble using the Revolution in a few inches of powdery snow and I can easily move 4-5 inches of powder but I'm a 6'1" 225 pound weight lifter and ice hockey goalie. If you have a back yard ice rink, the Revolution is the shovel for you and it will clear up any rink fast and it's ability to clean cut to the ground/ice makes it ideal for that use. I would highly recommend this shovel for light snow when used in wide open driveways or back yard ice rinks. Be careful of jamming this shovel or ANY shovel into wide expansion joints on standard concrete driveways - approach them a from a bit of an angle or wear a goalie cup. The Revolution would work great on smooth, gap free blacktop.

Good plow in general, but manufacturer needs better jigs for bending and/or drilling out the holes
I borrowed my neighbor's Manplow last winter to shovel around the church and found it much better to use than the usual snow shovels I've used. I decided to buy one for myself during the summer as the price had dropped some. I just assembled it in preparation for the coming season and wanted to share some feedback on the assembly process. I don't know if this is the norm, but the pieces were not prepped very well. The aluminum pole that is bent to form the handle was either pre-drilled with the holes off a little bit, or they drilled it after it was bent and were not able to maintain proper orientation. There are also plastic pieces that slide over the ends of the handle of which the screws are inserted through and which mates up with the blade. I'm assuming they drilled the plastic pieces fairly consistently and that it's just the aluminum handle that was not drilled very well, but I had a fun time getting it assembled, and now that it is assembled, the handle is tweaked a little rather than being squared up with the blade.Edit 5/30/2022: This Manplow has been serving me well. I live on a corner, so I have a lot of sidewalk, and I shovel a few elderly neighbors' walks and driveways, too. Sometimes I shovel the whole neighborhood if we get just a couple inches of powder. Anyway, I point that out to show that my plow is grinding on a lot of concrete. My usage began in late 2016 and went through early 2021 before I flipped my blade over in preparation for the season in late 2021. It had worn down enough that I thought it was time. I could flip it again if I really needed to as there was still some curve left (maybe get another year or two out of it), but for now, I'll enjoy more of the curved edge for the next few seasons and see where I'm at.

Excellent Product
The blade was 100% straight so you get a full 42 inches of cleaning surface. Great product for anyone with a large flat area that needs to be cleaned off. But remember this is a snow pusher, not a snow shovel.
