Before you buy IOS is for iPhone and C is for Android
I bought two for our trip to Greece. The main reason I bought these were the excellent reviews not only on Amazon but other sites as well. They translate GREEK, where most others do not. I bought the earbuds and I love them. They paired easily which is a plus since im technologically impaired. The ZERO I had a harder time with but Timekettle support was excellent and I found that i purchased the wrong Zero for my phone. IOS is for iPhone and C is for Android so make sure you order the correct version for yourselves. I find the earbuds keep up slightly faster than the zero but the zero is able to cover more kinds of conversation, especially if the person or people you’re speaking to do not have the earbuds. My family and friends all borrow it when traveling. Im thinking this will make a great gift for them!It works well, Sound quality is good, Pairing is easy and Translation if not exact is really close enough for me to understand the conversation. Im learning quite a bit as well. If was definitely a good purchase on my part and it was well worth the money,

Does NOT work Do NOT Buy!
Here is yet another Product I found interesting and it had a discount on Scamazon plus was supposed to come with a free gift. Lets Start with the fact this Product does not Work!!! I speak some Spanish and Fluent in English so it was easy for me to test this product at least using those 2 Languages. First you will need to have you Phone in your hand and Intrude on the person your talking to by putting the Phone in there Face.??? Yes even with a Build in Microphone this product requires you to use your Phones Microphone not the microphone that is built in the earbuds. It never translated either Spanish -> English or the reverse. I couldn't believe for $150 it uses the Phones Microphone and still COULDNT TRANSLATE correctly. This Item is a complete waste of Money I wouldn't pay $5 for this or any Product made by Timekettle. I tried another one of there Products with the exact same result so I'm sure its just a Low Quality Company charging as if they have a Functional Quality Product which they DON'T. Do NOT BUY from this company there products Do NOT WORK!!

Promising product, but it just doesn't work.
This is a reasonably well designed product and I really wanted to like it, but it simply doesn't work.. at least not for the language I needed it for. First, I need to bring up a bit of a design flaw.. the Zero will not plug into the iPhone with any case on it.. they need to make the lightning connector a bit longer. As it is, even the thinnest case I had prevented the use of the device, so either you have to use a lightning extension cable (which is what I did) or pop the phone out of the case every time you want to use the Zero. Now, the main problem was that the translation wasn't accurate.. in fact it was WAY off. I had a chance to try this with several people who spoke different languages than me.. I tried Portuguese, Czech, French and Hungarian. I tried several modes.. simultaneous, touch, interview, etc. The translations weren't just bad, they were TERRIBLE. And I tried many different ways of positioning the microphone. When trying, we spoke carefully and slowly, as well as just speaking naturally. It got the translation right maybe 20% of the time, and even then it was only somewhat right. Google translate does a far superior job for free in comparison.. which is really disappointing. I wanted it to work. Oh well.I subsequently decided to try another device which shall remain nameless except to say it fits in your pocket and the difference was absolutely striking. I went from most translations being wrong, to most translations being right, or at least in the ballpark of what was said.

Timekettle Zero Language Translator Device
Good device, easy to useThe only negative is that there are few offline dictionariesP.S. - On my ZERO, it turned out not a very convenient action -in order for the device to perceive speech normally, it must be brought close to the faceA friend with a similar device does not have such a problem.

Works better than I thought it would actually.
It works about as well as the earbuds, just gets a little more confused the faster you go.I found the earbuds were able to keep up just ever so slightly faster. But honestly if you have the earbuds I suggest getting this too, it's often discounted or free with promotions on amazon.I got it for discounted, mostly just to be able to cover more kinds of conversation. Honestly find myself using it almost as much as the earbuds themselves. I work with multiple customers with language barriers and have had success with time kettle stuff pretty much every time. The accuracy is is better than other translator services I've used. They've found the balance between accuracy and speed.Connectivity and sound quality are good, I had one period of like 2 seconds the earbuds paused or were thinking longer than usual, but this has been consistent. Ear buds slightly faster but connectivity is more of a concern. Really hard to say much just trying to hit all the important parts. Overall there's not many things that have gone wrong in my experience. I sell phones and about 60% of our customer base is latino. I've literally made hundreds of dollars thanks to being able to facilitate sales with people who don't even speak the same language as me. Considering I've made my money back already and continue to gain from this product it's hard to complain, translation is definitely worth it for me.If you're on the fence about this I'd have two suggestions.1. If you are a consumer, and just think this is cool, it's a good thing to have I highly suggest it. BUT don't get the earbuds, you might not get the use out of them that you want.2. If you bought the earbuds and have a use-case as well as promotional pricing on this, get it anyway it's worth it because of the different kinds of conversation this device can capture vs. the earbuds. This captures more people.I see a lot of asking about the battery life, and it's absolutely perfect for me. I'm able to pop them out anytime a customer walks in just in case they speak a different language (I've had more than just spanish). I leave them out the entire time customers are in the store, and use them about 1/3 of the time people come in. Then when people leave I pop them back in, and they last for 4-5 days of doing this. Never had them die on me. Also charge fast with usb-c.
