Feedback on FifthStart Ripstop Bike Cover – Excellent Quality, But Not Ideal for Daily Use
Only Put On/Off Twice – Excellent Quality, But Not Ideal for Daily Use While I truly appreciate the high quality and durability of the cover, I’ve found that it unfortunately doesn’t suit my specific needs for daily use during bicycle travel. My bicycle is equipped with several handlebar electronics, and the process of covering and uncovering it each day has proven to be more cumbersome than expected. Stretching the cover over and around the handlebars, electronics, and wheels takes more time and effort than is practical for frequent use. This is in no way a reflection of the cover’s craftsmanship—which is excellent—but rather a mismatch for my particular use case. I’ve since found that a speed-oriented solution like the Velo Sock offers the quick on/off access I require. It might be worth considering whether your product line could include a similar, travel-friendly option for users with similar needs. Again, thank you for producing a high-quality product. I genuinely like the cover, but it’s just not the right fit for me at this moment. Sincerely, Bicyclist Friendly

Great price
Good quality but wish slits were more to the bottom so bike can be easily locked up. I couldn’t pull cover all the way down do to position of slits. Waterproofing is excellent. Ease of installation is good.

Tough, heavy duty, and fits wide handlebars!
As noted in the headline, this cover is a great fit for bikes with wide handlebars (as many bike handlebars these days can approach 30" in width). Due to it's large size, it'll fit a 29er easily. This is my 2nd bike cover - the 1st was half the price and no where near half as good. It took some searching to find a cover that would fit a wide handlebar, and that I hoped would also be pretty tough, as the 1st cover I had as mentioned above developed holes in various places on the cover while transporting the bikes across the country (I carry the bikes behind a class C motorhome), and were downright flimsy compared to these covers. There are more expensive covers, but for the money I consider these a great value. So far, A+ performance. The only improvement I would suggest is asking the company to include straps and tie down points for these on the cover itself in order to minimize ballooning and flapping in the wind while driving. I used bungee cords for this purpose, but think included straps and loops on the covers themselves would be a great addition, though would add to the cost a bit, I'm sure.

Durable and heavy weight
Update, First one lasted for over 2 years and ripped during high wind weather. It held up well for sitting outside all year round. Just bought another because the quality of the product. Very nice bike cover, material thick and covers the entire bike. Had bought another brand tjat was less expensive but it had rips within a week and wasn't large enough. You do get what you pay for. Very easy to use it took a few times to get it on properly but reading the instruction and watching the video explains exactly how to get the cover on. The downside side is that our nyc weather has been warm, humid raining and damp which is causing moisture to occur under the cover which is a concern because the cover is to keep the bike dry which defeats the purpose. The less expensive bike cover didn't cause that to happen. Would like to know if this happens to anyone else or is there's an explanation for why this is happening. I worry that the moisture will eventually corrode my bike Would be helpful to have seller help with this.

This didn’t work for me. It’s a tight squeeze putting it on and off. AND it made my bike heat up.
This is an ok cover. Before buying this you should probably read this because, put simply, it may not even fit on your bike… at least without struggling. Technically it does what it is supposed to. Cover the bike and protect it….. the only issue I had in this regard, is that it cause my bike to heat up more than I would like it to. The description mentions UV protection, but I’m not sure how accurate this is. I needed a cover that will allow for my mtb to sit in the direct sun for around half the day. As well as protect from the elements. All it did was cause my mtb to heat up, as if there was no cover, ( if anything made it even hotter) and on top of that my rear shock was making weird noises due to the heat. Only when I pulled the cover off and put the bike into the shade did the noise stop. Also it was very annoying and difficult to put the cover on. When you have wider handlebars like that of a modern mtb or maybe a beach cruiser, as well as a generally larger bike, it makes it all the more harder to put it on. It’s a 29” wheel. Once I finally got it on, when it comes to taking it off it’s just as annoying. It was slightly easier…. Maybe…. But otherwise it was just as frustrating. TL;DR This cover barely fit my bike, it being a 29” mtb with wider handlebars, and may not fit yours. I struggled to take it on and off. Not only that it caused my bike to heat up more than I would’ve liked it to. It’s not good for direct sunlight, and only good for dust and what not If you need a cover that will protect your smaller bike from only dust and debris, like a 26”, MAYBE 27.5”, then this may be for you. The durability seemed good but I only used it for one night before getting annoyed by how hard it is to put on and off. Final verdict. Be careful when buying this. I had to return it the next day because I’m not dealing with it not fitting my bike AND, most importantly, it HEATING UP my bike? yeah, no. I just hope that those looking for a cover make a good, informed decision, so I gave an actual, honest review for this cover because I didn’t have a good time using it.

Replacement Bicycle Cover
I purchased this cover as a replacement for the last one I purchased. I store my bike on my terrace. The last one was too thin and tore in the wind, rain, and snow. This one is a heavier quality and has plenty of room for one bike. There are holes to secure the bike with a lock and to keep the cover on. It appears to be a good quality for the money. I watched the video and was able to put the cover on with ease. It also has a carry pouch for travel and storage use when riding. I recently purchased it and can't comment on its durability and performance. I will update this review at a later date.

perfect fit, quality item
Haven't had these cover(s), purchased 2, 1 for each cruiser bike very long yet. They are sturdier and thicker than the others I bought last year. But the other cheaper brand only lasted a few months then just basically ripped up so much that I threw them away. I'm hoping these last a lot longer since I paid twice as much as the cheapies, but if they do it will be worth it. We'll see by this time next year...
