The ONLY thing thos coat cant do it heavy downpoor for a long period of time. It absorbs water if its raining hard after about 15, 20 minutes. But it dried quick. Seriously I love this thing. I have a hard time finding sleeves that are long enough and the sleeves on this jacket are perfect!!! I ordered the khaki in the Past and re-ordered a replacement khaki because I tore the original. The jacket is light, comfortable, and warm. I'm disappointed because the replacement jacket arrived smelling strongly of fish!!! I washed the jacket in warm water with detergent and Borax (for the odor) however, the smell did not go away so I threw the jacket away. I also have the jacket in black. My two previous jackets (the original khaki and the black) did NOT smell like fish when they arrived.
