I am very heavy at the moment and needed a brace and was unsuccessful at getting one that actually fit right, was comfortable, WORKED the way it was supposed too and amazing quality. This brace is the complete package!! It works and is extremely helpful. I am a Hairstylist and I am on my feet for 8-12 hours straight and it would not be possible if not for this brace. I am also happy to add that this company is all about quality, customer service and customer satisfaction. After I received my brace I received an email making sure I was happy with it and letting me know if I had any questions, comments or anything to respond to the email. I let them know that the brace I received unfortunately, had a piece that broke off and I asked if I could get a replacement piece just so I could loop the Velcro through. They responded instantly just asking for a picture of what I was talking about so they could have it for insurance purposes and that they would send me out a whole new brace instantly. I sent back the picture and again said that I just needed a loop piece and I could use the one I had. Within 2-3 days at the most my whole new brace came in and it is amazing!! They didn’t even want the broken brace back. I am extremely grateful and satisfied beyond belief. It’s not easy being overweight and it’s even less easy to find a product that works when you are overweight. Thank you BraceAbility! Everything was and is perfect!

I am petite and plus size, the brace was too long for my leg when trying on it just kept slipping down and there was way too much material bunched in the middle. To return it I was charged a return shipping fee of $7. Way too much to ship an item back in a poly mailer. I won't be reordering from this company.

This is the absolute BEST knee brace I have ever had the (dis) pleasure of wearing. BraceAbility has been a KEY component in my personal #FatToFit transition. I went from weighing 387 pounds to 285 pounds in roughly 16 months thanks in HUGE part to these braces. Over the course of this year and a half, I have had to purchase not one not two but THREE different knee braces, from the 6XL to the 4XL. I can run in them, they offer SUPERB support and flexion, and they stay snug to your thighs and calves, no matter how massive. Perfect for Rehabilitation to injured/weakened knees. Perfect for Basketball, Elliptical machines, Walking, Jogging, and just plain Support and Stability (if you have knees with weak ligaments). As you lose weight, you'll HAVE to buy a smaller size to keep that perfect fit; but this is one time you WON'T be complaining…

I love this brace! I have severe osteoarthritis & need a knee replacement on my right knee, but can't afford it right now. I bought this brace to help support my knee until such time I can. I love the front closure - it's so easy to put on, and in addition affords you the ability to wear the brace over your jeans if you want to, rather than under them. In just two days of wearing the brace during the day, my pain level has noticeably decreased. What a surprise! I believe it's because the overall support keeps me from getting the many tiny injuries I usually get daily while stepping a little bit wrong, taking the stairs a bit too heavily, and walking on the uneven ground of my farm. The metal hinges still my knee to bend easily as well. I also like the opening behind the knee. It allows bending without the horrible bunching that sleeve style braces have. My medical insurance doesn't cover durable medical equipment, so I have tried many different braces from local stores and pharmacies in the past. None of them carry the larger size I need, and none of them had the wrap around front closure style. In addition, their prices were in the $30 range. Alot to pay for poor fit and design! I measured wrong (used 6" from the center of the patella rather than 3") and so the 3x is a little smaller than I'd like, but it's still very useable. Next order, I'll get the 4x so I have some extra room. This was in no way the fault of the seller, and I like the brace way too much to return it for a larger size, lol. Last week, my husband badly injured his knee stepping in a hole he didn't see, so he tried on my brace on and he also loves it. We're brace sharing for the time being, but once I order the 4x, I'll be giving him the 3x as his own. I found no problems with the materials, stitching or velcro whatsoever, and find the entire brace to be of great quality and design at a fair price. What more could anyone ask??

I may have been expecting something unrealistic with this. My Dad, 95, is only semi-mobile, using a walker but probably remaining seated 90% of his day. He has arthritis and has lost most of the cartilage in his knee, so I hoped this would provide support. Unfortunately, although I checked the measurements carefully, it doesn't fit properly. If I put it on him the way it's designed to be worn, it's ok when he's standing, although it tends to slip down. When he sits, though, it is too tight on top. The hinge does support his knee and prevent it from bending incorrectly.

This model was too small for me,but I also ordered the obesity model in 2X and it fits well. Haven't worn it much yet but am looking forward to doing so. When I did wear it, with my physical therapist beside me for safety, I felt much more comfortable trying to stand on my bad leg, and was able to walk further without needing to sit down.
