Very good, don't need knob of butter, but I still did, however it tends to brown quicker with butter. Good quality very easy to use & clean.

I don't often leave reviews, but had to with this fab product! Hubby & I love poached eggs on toast,but hate the mess with cooking them. We've tried traditional way in saucepan with vinegar & they come out looking like aliens. A 4 egg poaching pan with the little non stick cups & lid, half the egg sticks to cups & you end up scraping the cups with finger nails to clean even after soaking them. I did consider an egg cooker,but as we like 4 eggs each on 2 bits toast for a dinner, we wouldnt be able to get eggs at the same time as most egg cookers take 11-13minutes. THIS pan is the answer to our egg dreams! I "researched" alot of egg cookers/pans & decided on this one based on quality,description,size, & reviews. We tried it for 1st time last night. Washed in warm soapy water 1st, dried, wiped around whole pan with sunflower oil on a bit of polyroll. Put on the gas ring on medium heat & put 7 eggs in (the max number). Bottom & outer cooked evenly, but as we thought yokes weren't cooking quickly enough to avoid burning bottoms of eggs, we popped pan under a medium grill for about a minute, & BOOM - 7 beautiful soft yoke eggs!! They came out of the pan super easy, no residue, pan still like new & just washed without any scraping as before in warm soapy water. I am so pleased with this super pan. Although we couldn't see how we could poach them as pan is not very deep so wouldn't accomodate water really (about 6mm depth from top of egg hole to top of pan), our eggs were lovely-not rubbery, nice soft yokes & no undercooked parts-like a very clean fried egg without any greasiness or oil slurping about. All we did before was wipe the pan with sunflower oil so there was no liquid oil anywhere in the pan or on eggs. Super product,well made, looks like robust non stick too. I would highly recommend to anyone that loves "clean" poached or fried eggs. I would say to anyone buying, its always best to use a medium heat to preserve non stick life of pan.

I wish I had purchased this pan sooner! I am always cooking pancakes and previously used a regular frying pan. However, this pan allows me to cook 7 at a time and they are all ready together. I have also cooked fritters, fried eggs and mini omelettes and they have all been cooked to perfection. The heat distribution is fab and it really is non-stick - just be sure to do the first initial wash and heat with oil before as I believe this helps the non-stick ability.

I’ve been using this pan a while now. Still non stick, still easy to clean and have consistently made great American style pancakes with it. Only gripe is getting the pancake out of the groove - careful forking is needed.

Quite disappointed from the size of it, the pictures seem having bigger diameter pancakes but actually they're small. Beware of the picture. Quality seems ok.
