Such a simple but great product! Works perfectly!

KeySmart - Compact Key Holder (Extended Blue) Ok, so, here's the deal. This is a great product. And before I get into it, I want to make it clear that 1) I did NOT receive anything free to leave a review and 2) I hardly ever leave reviews, so it's pretty impressive to me when I feel I want to leave a review. Now for the product. It is everything it says it is. Let me address a couple of common concerns I see floating around in the reviews: 1) The keys are too loose, They just flop around with no friction. 1A) Ok, so for this I can assure you it's assembler error. If you assemble this thing according to the instructions, it will function EXACTLY as it's meant to function. I know exactly what these people with this complaint did. They did NOT use the proper length of screw, OR they did not use the spacers to ensure that you can get a tight fit with the screws. You MUST tighten down both sides evenly and with enough pressure to create friction. The screw WILL BOTTOM OUT in the standoff if you don't do this. 2) After awhile, the keys loosen up and just flop around. I keep having to tighten the screws constantly. 2A) Ok, so for this one, they didn't make sure the tiny rubber grommet was under the screw head when tightening down. They most assuredly left it out. You CANNOT DO THIS! Those grommets ensure that the screws DO NOT LOOSEN UP over time. And they also give you the freedom to select the tension you want. I assembled this exactly as instructed. And I have yet to have it loosen up at all. Period. And that's it. As for the other questions like "I can't get enough keys on the holder" etc....There is an extension kit you can purchase to take care of extension needs. Just do some homework before complaining. This is a GREAT PRODUCT! And you will NOT be sorry. I love mine. I got 3 of them to keep all my keys separated between work and home. Really nice purchase. Just follow the instructions to a "T". Do not think it's too simple to read instructions. Because, as some of the reviewers will prove here, it IS possible to screw up assembly.

No spring that pushes keys off while going on, like some other holders have. Uses standard straight blade (or coin) to remove screws. Has spacing washers. Unfortunately if you have a tremor, like I do, once apart it is impossible to reassemble. Had to return keys to my old keyring. Maybe I can have a friend do it.

I've been struggling to find a way to carry my keys that doesn't involve pocket bulges or my keys stabbing me in some way. I even got one of those bangle bracelet things with a key chain clip on it, but I hated the jingling. Noise just makes me irritated, especially that constant jostling of keys against my wrist. I got one of these on a whim, and they fit everything (including my bike's U-lock key, which has a rubber head but is smaller) but my car key and a personal alarm I have. Both the car key and the alarm are on the little loop that comes with the device. As another reviewer stated, if you follow the assembly instructions they work out fine. Security officials are generally okay with these, as you can see the keys in the device the instant you pick it up. They often do pick it up whenever I go through security, just to be sure, but eh. Most officers know what it is, I think. I should add too that I have mine in blue, not red, so the likelihood of being mistaken for a Swiss Army knife is low for me. Just be aware that you might have to explain to security personnel that your device is a key fob. Recommend this device for sure, and it's a great idea for stocking stuffers. The one thing I wish they did do is maybe include assembly instructions with the device to be more convenient. Otherwise, great little key fob and everyone needs one.

I just got this over the weekend so I can't speak to its durability, yet. What I can say, though, is that this is an excellent looking product. I had a little trouble putting it together as it is a little awkward stacking 5-6 keys on one side then threading the screw down through them; the stack had a tendency to shift as I was doing so. But once I figured out how to make it work (it looked so easy on the video) it went together just fine. I really like that it has some heft to it, it doesn't feel like a plastic toy. I also like that it keeps my keys from poking me through my pocket. I've seen some reviewers say that the screws tend to loosen over time. I haven't had any issue with that yet. As soon as I assembled it with all my keys I wiggled them back and forth for about 10 minutes, to see if they would loosen. I didn't notice any. If I find that I'm having an issue with that I'll just throw a little loctite on them and be done.

PROS: Novel idea. Takes up minimal space in one's pocket / bag. Extenders allow one to add more keys. Optional accessories could be useful depending on your needs. Unique gift. CONS: For myself personally, it is difficult to access the key I need one-handed. It takes me longer to get into my front door or lock it as I leave. I do not like wasting time fumbling for the correct key late at night as I enter my home. HOWEVER: For myself personally, this product is best used for work. I have several keys to different areas of my workplace, and taking extra time to find the correct one when I need it does not present any personal safety concerns. If I have to take two hands and a few extra seconds to get the correct storage closet key, it's all good because no one is lurking behind a bush waiting to ambush me. Hopefully.

Good quality. Bought for four keys and spaced them out so they neatly folded like a pocket knife. No jangle and fits right in my pocket. I bought it in blue. Not sure if the blue will slog off with wear, but I don’t have anything attached to it and my pocket only normally only has my keys so it’s been fine so far. It was easy to take apart and put together. Like I said, I staggered the keys using all the spacers which involved some work. It’s a little longer than it needs to be for normal keys, but I suppose they make it longer to fit certain other keys or maybe accessories.

Backward to assemble. Screw should be longer

This is an excellent product for organizing your keys. I bought the expansion kit so that I could get more keys, and ones that were thicker than normal, on the key holder. It took a bit of effort to organize the keys in the right sequence to get the desired result, but I’m very happy with it. The performance is excellent. I only have to tighten the locking screws about once every month to keep the keys firmly in place. No more loose jingling keys, and bulky pockets!
