So we just moved into a new house and naturally, I'm getting all new stuff to with it. That included getting rid of all our old knives and getting one good set instead. After browsing through quite a few, I decided on this one because it had everything that I needed and was still within a reasonable price range. Now, I feel that I should mention that this set is not Damascus and that it's only made to look like it via laser drawn design. With that said, I was expecting that and that aspect is not important to me. What IS important is that they function well and these knives did not disappoint. The knives are SUPER sharp and very comfortable to use. I barely have to apply pressure for them to cut through anything that I've tried so far. They are well made and sturdy and I was not able to find any defects or issues with them. The set comes with the knives, the block and a cute apron. We'll see how they hold up over time, but so far I am VERY impressed and very happy with this purchase.

I got these knives on sale for $60, and if I didn’t know how much I paid and I saw them in someone’s house, I would guess it was at least a $200 set, and I would believe somebody if they said they paid $300 The weight of the knives is very nice, they are very sharp, sturdy, and they are very pleasing on the eyes, including the wooden block, they come in. I have not seen anything in this price range remotely close to the quality of these. Seldom do I text friends and family to tell them about a product, but I did pass the word along about these, to a few people. The non-sale price was $100 and that is still a bargain for what you get out of this set, aesthetically, and quality.

I bought this set and received it just before Thanksgiving. Let me tell you, slicing the turkey was like a hot knife through butter - I honestly didn't expect that, given the price of these knives! It's now January and I'm still amazed every time I use them. Not a chef by any means, and I don't use them on a daily basis, but when I do, they perform flawlessly. I've even used the serrated steak knives to cut summer sausage, and the knives just go through it without even doing the sawing motion...it just goes straight down with minimal pressure. I thought that was cool! I've seen reviews here where the blades broke when dropping them...I have not dropped one yet, so I can't speak to that..but I would suggest not dropping them, especially onto a hard tile floor. They are hardened steel, which has a trade-off of being more brittle vs keeping an edge. Just the nature of the beast. I do recommend these knives - sharp, easy to use and they look great on the countertop!

Good knives. Stays sharp after sharpening and takes a while to dull!

Absolutely beautiful!

We have had these knives for about a month. The handles and blades are lovely, as well as sharp and effective. They are so nice, that I was aprehensive about getting them as a daily use set for my kitchen. The handles and matching wooden storage block end up being an attention draw when anyone comes over. It's the first thing they ask about. We don't put them through the dishwasher and it's a quick clean up with warm water and soap. We also have a Cutco set that we were given as a wedding gift. I was raised with Cutco, and these easily match the quality and beat the look. If you treat them well they should last for years. Since its only been a month I will update this review after a year or two.

It not only looks good but is also very well made. I think this set will last a long time. I particularly like the kitchen scissors that came with the set. Very sturdy and will cut through just about anything.

These are show stoppers in the kitchen and by grill side and they are fair in price and quality... I'd honestly actually by from this brand again... Seem to be keeping an edge fairly well (even after splitting big packs of chicken wings more than a couple dozen times so far, as well...) Color me surprised and pleased. Would completely recommend to anyone that knows what knives are used for what and aren't afraid to use a honing steel when the time comes!

Love this set. It is very reasonably priced for the quality. It looks awesome on my counter and love using it. They are very sharp and feel great in my hand. Absolutely love the wood handles. I was looking for my perfect knife set and I found it. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting one.

Beautiful set Look fantastic Handle edges could be sanded a bit smoother but overall very nice set

The picture to buy makes the block look of much quality and there is a name across the front. The block we received is cheap . We needed the knives so we will not send back as this is the second order we have received with issues. Not sure if it is the same vendor. The block is not two toned either. The weight of the knives are excellent and quality seems good.

For the price of these knives, Awesome, comfortable in your hand and best of all they sharpen up very nice. Recommend 100%

Looks great but not very sharp! Definitely don't think many consumers will like the shears. So...very nice set visually but lacks the ability to keep a sharp edge in my opinion.
