Boost Nutritional Pudding, Chocolate, 5 Ounce (Pack of 48)

I have gastroparesis. They gave me this in the hospital and some days it’s the only thing I can eat. Easy way to get calories and nutrition, tastes better than drinks. At first I wasn’t too keen on the fake chocolatey flavor but you grow accustomed to it.

Pudding was great but unfortunately, I have never been able to purchase again as it hasn't been instock since.

Supplement my snacks each day. Smooth and creamy. Dislike the container due to wasted pudding when trying to clear pudding off sides.

I switched to these to try to wean myself off of the shakes, which I had come to rely on instead more than I really want to. I am in my 30s, but I struggle with my appetite and not wanting to eat, so I use these meal replacement items as a nutritional crutch for when my diet is lacking. I especially don't like to eat in the mornings, which is what made the shakes really great. I could just drink them in 20 seconds and then I would eventually feel better having something in my stomach. But, that convenience is also what made it tempting to just substitute shakes for most of my meals through the week.So, four stars for the pudding, because I think the shakes are still better and therefore warrant that extra star. The flavor of the pudding is better when chilled, but it is not as good as the shakes of the same flavor profile. It's actually a great portion size, I kind of wish there was a mini-shake option with similar portioning. The pudding is also not as convenient because it requires the effort and availability of a utensil to consume, which is something that I struggle with, especially in the morning. It was substantially less expensive than the shakes as well, I believe I got 48 for about $8, while the shakes have typically run about $25 for 24.All that being said, it is doing exactly what I was looking for. I still have the backup crutch nutritionally, if I can't get what I need from eating the proper food, but it is not so delicious and convenient that it is so easy to prefer these as an option over a regular meal.I would totally recommend these to someone or to my future self that ever needed nutritional soft food options after any kind of dental work or surgery or other health issue that ruled out a lot of regular foods.

I purchased this for my brother who has health issues. He loves this stuff and it's good for him as well. When he was in the hospital, I noticed they had this as part of his menu selection. Glad I could purchase it thru amazon. Tastes GREAT!

Taste just like the drink, did not make me sick from lactose. Great for people who need protein but have problems with lactose. Will buy again, when I have the money. It is pricey but a good back up for those crazy busy days.

Just a good amount for a picky eater with poor appetite

The media could not be loaded. My spouse has cancer and has difficulty maintaining weight and eating anything. These BOOST nutritional puddings are palatable and tolerable for him to eat. 5 stars on the product; (although INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE) Extremely dissatisfied with receiving damaged product. The products seemed well boxed on the inside. The outside box had no damage; however the boost box was inside of a larger box with minimal packing materials, thus leaving room for it to slide and slam around...resulting in leaking. Non returnable or replaceable. Maybe I'll try ordering straight from BOOST website, and not AMAZON.. He also likes the VERY HIGH CALORIE SHAKES.
