Intel® Core i5-10400 Processor (12M Cache, up to 4.30 GHz) BGA 437 Socket

I bought Asus h510m-e R2 from local shop and plugged this i5 10400 processor, I installed Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS and it works flawlessly on this relatively new system, of course later version of ubuntu will work too but I needed something that can run atleast 18.04.6 and above.... I also bought TP link WN881ND v1 with atheros chip and it is natively supported by ubuntu... Remember v2 is different wifi card and has realtek chip so can't guarantee

I am not a gamer. I just bought for my software purpose like MATLAB & Python and programming. This processor on msi b460m-a pro runs so smooth with wd 500gb ssd. It turns on within 3-5 seconds. Earlier it took 10min to 1hr to open my Matlab on pentium core 2 duo. But on this it starts within 10 seconds. What an improvement. Highly recommend for students and academic works.

Amazing CPU for the price if you mainly like to game on your pc. this is the best value processor in the market right now. Ryzen 5 3600 processor is overpriced right now and not worth that price premium. Just get an z490 and 4000mhz ram and see high fps gaming on budget. I am using msi z490 a pro and hyperx predator ram.

Great value for money, but the stock chooler is inadequate, please buy a tower cooler to get the most out of this, it will get insanely hot if you don't get a good aftermarket cooler. Any time it hits 100% usage the temperature gets about 85°C and then thermal throttles.

Product received in good condition, but I want change the product and there is no option for exchange with another one.

Working well in an Asus Prime B560 Plus motherboard. Runs cool with an Arctic 12 CO cooler. Supplied Intel cooler was an aluminium core Foxconn cooler, which would probably be OK, but wanted a quieter cooler. So far CPU easily handles everything easily with low CPU usage % and runs cool. Item was brand new in sealed box and appears to be genuine Intel. It was delivered quickly and good value. Includes graphics core which uses 8gb shared memory with 2 x 8gb RAM installed.
