Works flawlessly, easy to use, good solid design that saved my data.
The media could not be loaded. I have an old SSD and I broke the connector off when my motherboard controller cable could not connect to it anymore, where I was forced to look for something that would have a more robust connect and allow to plug into my computer to save my data. I found this one with good reviews, and gave it a try. Wow, it worked perfectly. Connected easily, plugged in easily and connected to Windows 10 without any drivers to load. The data lights on the drive show exactly when data is connected by a blink and transferring data goes steady as the data is transferring. When connected, drive pops up immediately, transfer speed is fast as my drives on my computer. No throughput issues, no disconnects or data loss. Hard to show without a video, so I added one. No cons, I can't think of a single one, where I am very happy with the purchase.

Appears to be a fine interface adapter
The delivery was fast, and the products are very nice. RJ-45 for Ethernet I/O and male USB-A on a short cable to connect to my Windows PC or Raspberry Pi. Plug and play. Could hardly be easier.

Works well but minor issues.
I bought this adapter to go through some hard drives i have saved over the years. The drives are from old dead computers that was going to be tossed in the trash or recycled. This adapter has worked well so far but i still haver a lot of drives to go through. There is 2 things that needs to be improved. #1 The ide connector is almost too tight, it does fit but it takes way to much pushing force to connect it. #2 The ide 4pin power cable is too short for some of the drives i have, i had to order an extension for it. Other than the 2 minor issues, It works well. I have an older sata hard drive that uses the 4pin ide power cable. When you plug the drive into the sata port, the supplied 4pin power wire is too short to reach the drive.

Great with NTFS, not so great with HPPFS & Ext4. Really old IDE drives also do not pull up.
Instant plug and play on a Linux laptop with NTFS formated drives. I put this through torture test after checking the stack of drives I had. Worked great with both SATA and IDE. It failed to recognize ext3, ext4 and HPFS formatted drives. I was able to use a wavlink docking station to read those same drives. Hence only 4 stars instead of 5. There were a couple older IDE drives I suspect still worked that it would not bring up. Of the ones that failed, 2 had from the sound clearly suffered head crashes, so I knew they were not coming back to life. I have 2 that sounded good but would not pull up. I just wanted to see what was on them. Not much use for a 300 meg IDE drive any more. I just wanted to pull what data off there I might want to save and scrap the drive. I'll have to wait and find an external drive that can read those ancient drives.

Piece of junk.
I bought this so that if I ever needed to hook up an old HDD/SSD to retrieve files I wouldn't need to open up my PC just to connect it. It was supposed to make things convenient. Unfortunately it took over a year before that day came, just to find out it doesn't work 90% of the time. I've had problems with both the USB connection and the SATA port, where if I was lucky enough to get both working at the same time I might get a few minutes of access to the connected drive before the device would disconnect. Ended up just throwing it in the trash. A complete waste of time and money.

Perfect all-in-one tool for Data recovery
I ordered this product to recover data from an old hard drive that has been forgotten about in a family computer for many years. Using this tool made data recovery a breeze, even providing all the tools necessary for easy use. The ports are fragile, not enough to break with regular use, just don't pick it up with a drive still attached. Worked very well, and made it easy to work with the old files as if it was a modern drive.

Works well, do check with seller on your drive compatibility
This is a great IDE hard drive reader. No need for any drivers on my windows 10 to get the system to recognize the drive. Just plug and play and you will see the hard drive info pop up to your laptop or pc hard drive.Just open the drive and you have access to all your files and you can drag and drop to anywhere and delete and modify like any external hard drive.Do contact the seller if you are not sure if this works on your hard drive. They really know their stuff. Had to contact them few times and they guided me which exact model that worked on mine. They have ones for 2.0 USB port that is more for older pc IDE hard drives.I have to say they have excellent customer care. Beyond thankful to get my files off the drive I thought I could not.

Pour info je suis sous Windows 10.EDIT: 3-4 years later the device still work like day one. I use it not very often since it's only when I have a faulty drive that this thing is useful for me but it could be use everyday as a hdd to usb cable. Maybe even a HUB since you can plug 3 types of drives at the same time, but I have no idea if they would still works all 3 at the same time..That's it for the update! (12-04-2021):)

Works well - very fast on USB3
I upgraded my sons PC to SSD, and had the old drive lying around. I bought this so I could connect the drive to my ASUS router. It works a charm - not a glitch in nearly a year, and we now have our own private NAS on our network. It has connections for all IDE and SATA drives.

Oggetto utilissimo e funzionante

OK
