Great shoe for the price...
This is my third or possibly fourth pair of ASICS wrestling shoes. I have been wearing them for a long time. I use them for playing my drums and for exercise (the thin sole or a wrestling shoe is great for foot flexibility on my bass drum pedals). I found this new pair to run even smaller in size than I was used to though. I was told and have also experienced that these shoes run a bit smaller than the number size would have you believe. I ordered size 11 medium width. In most shoes, I wear a 10 or 10.5. My last pair of ASICS were size 11 and fit perfectly. This new pair of size 11 seems almost too small, but just right enough that I won't send them back. A little more toe room up front would be good, but that being said, my big toe does not reach the tip of the shoe...there is a little bit of extra room. After I have had them on and walk around for a few minutes, they seem just right. Maybe it is just that they are new - they seem to grab my foot a little more snugly than I am used to. But I am very happy with them...these were a bit cheaper than many of the others I looked at despite being comfortable and well made.

Super comfortable when training
These are super comfortable and work perfectly, for boxing and wrestling. I would buy these again. Exactly how I thought that they would be.

Good shoes, good price, good fit
I bought these to replace an old pair of Asics that I had bought four years prior. They were still in decent shape but getting a bit loose. I don't use these to wrestle but to kick a heavy bag as a large part of an hour long heavy bag workout I developed, mostly kicking. Wrestling shoes work good for this purpose, kicking a bag, because they have a minimalist, flat sole. You don't need a running or cross training sole when you kick, nor do you need treads but what is helpful is a high top to protect your ankle from chafing. They also make good weight lifting shoes also I think. They fit as expected and like other Asic wrestling shoes and are very lightweight. When I ordered my last pair I went up a half size due to reviews but I think that was a mistake and I compensated with my old pair by wearing a heavier sock. They're a bit tight when you put them on but once on they fit very well. I like the color scheme too, very happy with the purchase.

Order 1 size above normal shoe size and 1.5 sizes if you have wider feet like me.
Great Product, I just got it yesterday and there seems to be no problem! I haven't used the shoes to wrestle yet, but ASICS is a trusted company and I the fabric on it feels strong. I got the White and blue one. I'm a size 8 US MENS in normal size, but ordered a size 9. It fits but it's snug - not to confuse snug with tight! It's not tight or constricting, it just feels snug. I have wide feet so I suggest ordering shoes 1.5 size plus your normal size. I'm 8 so I think 9.5 would have been a bit better, but I'm good with what I have.To conclude, no problems with this product, JUST DONT FORGET TO ORDER 1.5-1 SIZES ABOVE YOUR NORMAL SHOE SIZE. Great product and comfortable.

Look great, run a bit narrow
Brilliant Green shipped these out to me and received my order very quickly. In therms of their looks, for me these are beauties. It's not a common color way; bit of a throwback to the 90's, which I appreciate. Those with wide feet be warned though, they're a bit narrow. I went up half a size from my normal wrestling shoe size. Can't wait to get on the mat with these.

Good for Boxing.
I have trouble finding shoes in sizes 14+. I also have slender feet. My boxing coach suggested that I buy wrestling shoes. It was good advice, because they are quite similar in design. They are still fairly flat and extremely lightweight, and I actually think that I would prefer the rounded texture on the ball of the foot to something with a flat tread. These will feel pretty slender for most people. You have to loosen the laces to get them on, but when they are on they are slug and fit nicely. The toe space might be slightly small for some, so you may need to size up. It's probably by design. For a slender foot, they fit as expected but are marginally lacking in toe space.

Shoes are small by at least a size
I've come to the conclusion that a Men's Asics shoe size (at least for the smaller sizes) is really a Woman's shoe size. I normally buy a man's size 5.5 (E) dress shoe when I can find them, however I buy a woman's 7 (4E) sneaker because they're almost impossible to find in a man's size. This advertised "man's wide wrestling shoe" is a 6.5 (W) which is a snug fit in length and width. I would have ordered a slightly larger size and width, like a 7 (4E), but it wasn't available at the time and I can live with the snug fit. Hopefully it wears for a long time.New post (8/18/2016): I returned the 6.5 (W) and replaced it with a 7.5 (W) shoe (Amazon is great on replacing items). The shoes are still the same width, which I think would be a D in men's size, but atleast the additional length gives more space in the toe area. Again - these Men's snapdown wide wrestling shoes should be ordered if they were women's sizes (5.5 men's is 7 women's).
