This book quickly became a household favorite and the first book we buy for other kids! It is fun and educational.

Good quality, colorful and nice story.Like the size. Gifting to grandson.

The media could not be loaded. The rhyming in this book is excellent and it’s so fun to go through so many water creatures. You can find a million farm books but there’s only one Commotion in the Ocean!

This is a great book and it's become my toddler's favorite.

I bought this book as well as Rumble in the Jungle for a retired teacher who volunteered to lead family groups in writing poetry. She had several very young participants and asked if I could help her research appropriate books to fit her lesson plan for poetry being a fun expression of our natural world. She was thrilled with this book as well as Rumble in the Jungle. They are both beautifully illustrated and the poetry is a delight!

I love the other books from these authors, however, this one...not so much. The pictures are great and the rhymes for the animals are good but the first and last pages are off. I mean, the rhyming is off. The stanzas are 3 lines instead of four or five (like all the others) so they don't flow very well.

We used this book as a guide for an under water playroom 23 years ago. Now my granddaughter loves the rhythm of the words. A favorite book for our family.

my 18 month old loves finding the starfish on each page, the illustrations are fun and bright, and the rhythm of the story is great! Each of the animals makes a unique sounds that my son finds funny and will repeat back like "pitter patter, pitter patter" of the sea turtles feet back into the ocean. A nice addition to your childs bookshelf!
